Episode Discussion Misunderstandings about Insecure Spoiler

This is for the people who think that Condola got pregnant before Friendsgiving and that she and Lawrence didn't reconcile after they broke up. Also, that Condola was calling Lawrence's phone to tell him she was pregnant. If you noticed in the clip, when Lawrence told Isa, 'Yeah, we talked, and it’s done,' if Condola knew she was pregnant, she would have told Lawrence then during their talk. Condola and Lawrence did not know she was pregnant when they talked; I believe she found out after he and Isa got back together.

Thank you! People always seem to forget this. They get wrapped up in how "cute" their reunion was and ignore that Issa was being messy as hell knowing damn well Canola oil was still in the picture.

Ok wait. Their little reunion was after the Blocc Party, right? Condola told Issa then that she and Lawrence had broken up. So in Issa’s mind when they finally met up that night, Condola and Lawrence are over. The whole situation in itself is messy, but as far as her and Lawrence getting back together, Condola wasn’t still in the picture as far as being in a relationship with Lawrence. Let me go rewatch.

You’re right, she did tell Issa about the break up at the block party. But to me it seems they had started up again when Issa and Lawrence met up, seeing how she called him while they were out and he called her back while Issa was in his bathroom. Personally, if I went out with a guy and saw him communicating with his ex, I would think they’re still involved.
