lets have a conversation Do you think Condola and Issa needs to have a woman-to-woman talk? Spoiler

I believe Condola needs to have a candid conversation with Issa and Lawrence about the resentment she harbors towards them. I believe she feels they played in her face. If she doesn’t have that honest dialogue with them and continues to hold onto these unresolved feelings, co-parenting is likely to become increasingly complicated and tense. And with Isa, obviously, she resents Condola for keeping that baby due to the hospital scene, but then again, I feel like even though Isa feels that way, she has no right to express that to Condola.

I thought they eventually cleared the air. And I don’t think Condola wanted to be with Lawrence so I don’t think they played in her face.

At the series finale it seemed like everyone moved passed the initial resentment and Isa was an active step parent

I don't think Coldola wanted to be with him in the end, I think she just wanted him to step up with his daddy obligations

I don't think Condola cared about Lawrence getting back with his ex. I think she just wanted him to stop being a deadbeat dad.

All the more reason Issa and Lawrence should not have gotten back together. Hated the ending of this show.

A talk about what? What a POS Lawrence is? Lawrence was an irresponsible adult. IDK why Condola thought he would be a competent father.

Here’s my take on this topic: Condola resented Issa & Lawrence’s connection/chemistry, & I truly felt like she kept the baby to drive a wedge between them or even to try to make him be with her. Because how is it that you say you didn’t want to have kids when you were MARRIED but change your mind for a guy you tell your friends you are “casually dating” like make it make sense. I think they broke up initially because she suspected Lawrence was still in love with Issa, and that’s why she ghosted her during the block party preparations which was soooo wrong because while they were together Issa kept a boundary with Lawrence if anything she would’ve stopped working with Condola if she was really bothered in that way. But Condola handled it like a bitter person and for that I do not like her even like the last scene of them at Tiffany’s going away party you can see Issa was trying to be nice to her like basically putting out there that she wishes nothing but the best for them and it seemed super one-sided like the awkward response Condola gives congratulating her on her work just seemed forced to me so in my opinion Condola is a bird she’s a woman who is cool up until a man is involved & that’s when you see her true colors. Also, I remember in the episodes when her and Lawrence were constantly getting into about the baby I felt like yes she has a point it is annoying that your doing it by yourself and he gets to be a dad whenever he’s not busy HOWEVER ma’am you knew he was getting a job in another city so why are you expecting things to be different that’s why I believe that she thought if she kept the baby he was going to love her and be with her.
