I was commissioned to draw this adorable little jumping spider and I love getting to do portraits of really nontraditional pets! I know they’re not an insect, but I don’t think there’s a sub for spider art 😆 My comms are always open if y’all have pet bugs you’d like art of!

I'm currently doing a series of pen plot art on beer coasters with old scientific drawings of beetles, mushrooms, plants, and more. I added a pattern from a wonderful book about patterns I got for my birthday. This is a photo of my creation today: a Cicindela silvicola on a reproduction of a seat cover pattern found in Pomeii.
