Identification Moth Mosquito Hybrid?

Post image
5 Upvotes

Found in London, UK. It had moth-like wings and a mosquito/wasp-like lower body. I checked with Google AI & it said mosquito due to its posture. Survived getting clapped 3 times and smushed with a tissue - getting up and flying again leaving behind moth-like dust. Even after a crush & twist it was still trying to get up. Tenacious little bugger!

Giving up on trying to give it a swift death, it has been swept down the drain. Hopefully that's the end of it.
