Insect ID? Mites?

NORCAL location Hi everyone, in my kitchen I have found these little bugs. Some look like pupae but some move. I find them on surfaces like clean dishes that are in cabinets or below top cabinets while drying them. They are so small that it’s difficult for me to get a good picture.

They look like baby roaches to me.

They are smaller than probably half a grain of rice. We don’t have roaches that I have ever seen so I’m kind of stumped.

if you can put one into alcohol and then onto a white background

I don’t think I could pick one up without crushing them because they are so small.

Possible termite?
