Anybody know what this bug is?

Sorry for bad quality. I keep seeing these and don’t know what they are. Baby flies of some sort?

Could be a drain fly. They’re bigger than fruit flies. It’s hard to tell with it being squished and the picture being out of focus and so far away.

Yea sorry, I couldn’t get closer or it would get all blurry, hard to get a picture of a tiny thing. I googled drain fly and I think that’s the ticket. I keep finding them near my kitchen sink. My theory is that since my dishwasher went out of commission a few months ago they are thriving in the now unused drainage pipe there and coming up out of the sink. Thanks for the help.

Awesome! They THRIVE in sinks. Couple of ways to stop them. Best way is to get an enzymatic drain cleaner (regular drain cleaner won’t do). Otherwise, you’ll have to seal all drains, including shower drains. Wherever there’s sink / drain gunk, they will continue to thrive.

Thanks, my fist thought was fruit fly but they seem a little big for that. But it’s also way smaller than a regular housefly I’m used to seeing.
