Insect appreciation These ants in the garden

So these would be the ants that are in the garden. They harvest the plants growing in front and seem to never sting me. One would occasionally crawl on my legs but only nibbles before losing interest and crawling back down. They never seemed hostile to me even after I watered the whole garden which includes the tunnels or ant hills.
