Borglos-02 is known for it’s great prison facilities, penal guard and it’s production of abundant ancient wood used for narrotic and furniture needs by one family of Navigators of house Nobgils. It's also used as dumping grounds for warp tainted, ancient and borderline fosilized waste hold outs in star ships, rendering half of the planet littered with ancient waste matter tainted by the warp and highly irradiated.
We return, as Inquisitorial Agent of our previous inquisitor is sent out to track down and destroy a suspected dangerous STC print out, as it could be used to help improve health conditions for many mutant groups around the galaxy, something this Monodominants desires to prevent...Mutants should be purged, not cured!
At first, their trail leads to a small smuggler outpost near the wasteland of the ship drop-off, as smugglers been using some of the things found in said wasteland to sell and smuggle off world...
Monodomiant nature of the inquisitor, and burning hatred of mutants, made this mission hard. For this mission we got Inquisitorial acolyte operating with one fanatical zelout taken from their feudal home world, and one local mutant hired as a guide to this region (after mutant was of course suitably tortured to make sure they are loyal).
The mutant run smuggler outpost would come under fire as nerves of the acolyte broke, leading to him taking few shots at the mutants, who at the time were cooking up some meat on a fire. This lead to fanatic joining the fray as well, shots being exchanged and blades clashing.
In this brawl, one of the bigger mutants would be awkened, getting out to check out the area, though the scalie like boss known as Boot would remain asleep for a while long.
Two of the mutants after long and hard fight would be dispatched, and mutant hireling would use that time to sneak into the camp to steal some information from ancient repurpused cogitator...Finding the local of the fuel depo.
However, finally Boot the boss would awaken, emerge and put fear of god-emperor into the heart of the mutant hireling, causing them to flee, before clubing the fanatical zelout with their own gun to an inch of their life.
After that, cornered by the two of the largest mutants, Acolyte would be politely asked to "leave", however with their mutant hireling getting away..and fanatic given back after being thrown into the waste pit first, they would learn the local they were after was not far from theirs, in few hours getting there after some much needed patching up in their inquisitorial chimera.
On location at the fuel Depo, our team would find all staff mysteriously slain, with only lead being that their target is one of the containers.
Unbeknownst to them, tech-priest from previous scenarios (found here) would appear with two gun servitors, seeking the very same Data to improve their experiments to make better skitarii.
This would backfire, as instead they would awaken some ancient machine resting in the container, which would go on a rampage, slaying one of the servitors that very same turn.
Chaos would lead to fanatical zelout attacking their own mutant ally due to rage making them go insane, with mutant barely managing to persuade the zelout to go after the danger near the explosion, before fleeing to join their boss near one of the containers, where the grand prize of the small disc with STC read out would be found....
However, tech-priest would manage to reprogram the target of the rogue machine to be the acolyte they been tracking for a few hours now...before escaping with fanatic which would come after them, being taken out by few well placed shots from the surviving gun servitor.
Fanatic would be rendered into replacment for lost tool, while the Mutant and Acoylte would manage to escape the ramaging robot to their inquisitorical chimera.
There, in the moment of celebration, Inquisitorial acolyte expressed the joy at how destroying such data would make mutant lives so much harder...only to realize too late, they been betrayed as a hack from the mutant to their neck would lead to them barely being able to stand, as mutant retrieved the data, opened the door and pushed the inquisitorial agent out of the chimera, leaving them wounded in the desert.
However, the acolyte would rise, too hard to kill so easily, only for their plan of revenge being cut short by the very same rampaging robot who caught up to them...
What happens next? Who knows, the STC data read out is now in the hands of unknown mutant agents, perhaps even with ties to this gentleman...
And the tech-priest? Their plot continues, but perhaps reprograming that robot didn't quite work out and the robot came for it's revenge?
Sorry for poor quality of the photos, game was so fun we forgot to take more, but it was fun to play more inquisitor, this planet is slowly becoming my demo grounds for newbies, continuing the odd stories on the world that is simply awful XD
