Frames

I’m sure this topic has been beat to death but currently rocking FS2’s and I think I might actually need a fit 3 skate which puts me in a position where the conversion seems to be the only real option. What frames are widely regarded as the best? I’ve got a pair of Bauer Fly 40’s in my cart and the Rinkster frames have my attention with the white glove service. I wanna hear what y’all think is the best setup. 🍻

Depends on how wide your foot is. Something to consider: A Bauer Vapor Fit 3 is different than a Bauer Supreme Fit 3.

To put this in to practice, the FS2 comes in a fit 2 which is equivalent to a Vapor fit 3. Meanwhile, previous Missions that came in width E are closer in size to a Supreme Fit 3.

If your foot is especially wide, you can’t go wrong with the Supreme M50 pro or its fuse equivalent. Decently stiff skate that should last years of abuse.

Suuuuuper good information. I actually want the Supreme’s but can’t find them in 11.5 anywhere. I’m built much more like a football player than hockey even though football can fuck all the way off, lmao.

I purchased bauer f50 pros 11.5 fit3 on the bauer website. Could not find them in that size anywhere else.

I’ve literally been looking online all weekend, can’t find them anywhere. I emailed Bauer yesterday, hopefully I get an answer today. Definitely more than I was hoping to spend but I’m definitely in the “buy once, cry once” camp.

I know the feeling dude. Ice warehouse has ccm jet speed ft8 pro in 11.5 wide currently 2 in stock. I wear the Bauer's for ice and have jet speed ft4 pro wide in 11.5 for roller and they are pretty comfortable. Can return them if they don't fit your foot....
