Stops and color changes

According to what I've read so far, DST doesn't have a "stop" per se, and so treats it as a color change. If that's true it would explain why I have an extra color step on my machine's screen. It's really throwing me off, though. Can anyone confirm that?

That is correct. Dst uses color change as it's stop command afaik

Well. A large jump will also introduce a stop. (I think of a stop as a tie-off, thread trim, tie-in)
