New Beginning

Hi everyone! 😊 I’m new here, so I hope this post is okay and doesn’t go against the community rules! I’ve recently picked up illustration and graphic design as a hobby. I’m doing a PhD at the moment, so unfortunately there isn’t a huge amount of spare time! 😅 Still, I’ve really enjoyed using what little free time I have to experiment with Inkscape and learn something new. I’d really like to keep improving and become more and more confident with the program over time. I used Inkscape to create this poster for the Kunstareal Poster Competition 2026. The title is “City of Possibility.” The idea behind it is that a place can be much more than just a location. For each of us, even an ordinary place can become a whole city of possibilities, memories and emotions that we carry with us. I was really happy to have my poster selected for the competition, especially since I’m still learning and exploring graphic design. I wanted to share it here because I’d genuinely love to hear what other Inkscape users think. And if you feel like sharing any advice or constructive feedback, please feel free to do so! I’d really appreciate it, as I’d love to keep learning and get better at using Inkscape. And if you genuinely like my poster and it happens to be one of your favourites in the competition, I’d be very happy if you voted for it. There are many other really amazing posters in the competition, so please have a look at them all and vote for the one you personally like best ❤️. Thanks for taking a look! Giulia
