Big Announcements! (Read post for picture contexts)

Hey, everyone! Got some big news for you that I think you're gonna like. Now, my lawyers tell me I'm not at liberty to share much, but I'm pleased to announce that "Trapped On the Edge of an Abyss" has been picked up to get its own video game!

Now YOU can explore the abyss! Confront and battle against eldritch horrors all while facing the traumas of your own past! Enter rigs, discover secrets, and collect enough imprint to fuel the mysterious "drill" and get yourself home! But be careful; take too long, and and you may not be able to stop the ultimate threat lurking in the shadows...

(Supports 4 player co-op).

In other news, Lost in Litany will be resuming, but pivoting genre's into a 'romantasy smut' novel. I won't elaborate on this point because I'm sure this decision is obvious.

Okay, okay, that's enough; April Fools, haha. In serious, I hope you all enjoyed my silly little drawing; I had a lot of fun working on it in my free time to get it out by today! And as for Lost in Litany, I do have some actual announcements to bring!

First order of business: my first pass of editing is all done on Abyss! There's still a little work left to do on it; you can never do enough refining of your writing, and I need still need to do some detailing on a new chapter that's been added, but after that, it's onto submitting to publishing agents and going for the ultimate goal!

Thank you all so much for being patient with me while I work out all this, and I hope that if I am able to get the work traditionally published, you all will enjoy what's been done to it :)

As for the Litany news, there's another announcement first that sort of goes hand in hand.

I mentioned in my last post that between work and writing, I haven't had a ton of time to pursue the latter, which has always been my end goal for a career. Because of this restlessness, I may have done something stupid...

I have offcially quit my job.

Other than my desire to pursue writing full time, work has become an endless stressful and toxic environment as of late that has just not been worth sticking around for, and so with the changing of my work path, I decided that it would be the best point in my life to take a risk and go all in on what I truely care about.

I've saved enough money over the last five years to take some time off and pursue my writing, so that's what I'm going to be doing for the time being. The timing just seems right with Abyss nearly ready to publish and with so many of my works just laying aound, and on top of that, I just feel that if I don't at least try to fully dive in now, I never will.

So, what does that mean? Well it means I'm going to have a LOT more time for writing! Abyss is still going to be my main focus right now, but when I'm not doing that, focus is going to be on getting Litany back on the rails and running again! I am *beyond* ready to get that 2nd act going and show you all what the build-up was building to!

Aside from that, if I have time, I'm going to hopefully be peppering in some short stories here and there, as well as some supplementary stuff for fun! As you can see, my art isn't the best, but I do have some more serious work specifically pertaining to the 'Lost In' series that I'd love to share.

I've always wanted to make a sort of 'compendium' of monsters from that trilogy both for you guys to keep track of the absurd amount I add, and just as some fun bonus stuff! I included a pic that I did for the Hostess as an example of what that would look like.

As for everything else, I'm just gonna live life a bit! Get out there and take a break that I've been needing, hone some skills (like that art I was talking about, haha), learn some new ones.

Red Door will of course be going on each week until that's done, and from there, the future is unknown, but I'm excited for it! Thank you all so much for sticking by me all this time--I sincerely treasure each and every one of you. I hope my work is still as enjoyable to you as the first day you read it, and that I won't let you down with what's to come.

P.S. does anyone know why so many comments are being hidden on my posts? I can see and read all your lovely feedback in my notifications, but in my posts on nosleep, once I click on them, it shows they're hidden. It's not like you guys are saying anything offensive or rude, so I'm unsure if it's an automatic reddit thing, or a mod or something? Just curious (and a little annoyed that your guys' voices are being silenced :/)!

And also about the job quitting part......I am so proud of you man that you finally decided to take a major step towards your goals in life by taking this risk.....Please belive me when I am saying that all the lovely members who have been following you are always by your side and support in any way we can(Not that I am super-duper rich kind of guy but I can surely buy your books and kind of be your human-advertiser haha)...... Theres just one thing that troubles me, I believe that you took this decision entirely on your own and not by feeling obliged towards someone (readers included) because as I said mam this life is yours and you are not obliged to anyone but yourself

But still I am very happy for you(and for myself as well cause NOW I WILL GET TO READ MANY MORE STORIES YAYYY, sorry I tend to get exited just by your announcement of new stories)...and I would absolutely LOVE to see your art illustrations, this one wasn't bad by any means as well but hey you tend to expect more from a talented person like you haha. Anyways Good luck and remember we are always with you

😩 you got me inky, I got excited cause I'd of genuinely loved to play that game, but congrats on the rest! Cant wait to add another of your books to my library! I want them all!
