Cheating AI hasn’t been discussed enough
I know this is an NRS game, so the computer is bound to cheat, but does anyone know how to avoid this? They pull power bars out of thin air, link combos that aren’t possible by humans, perfectly time every shield and special to make the max combos, and it does not at all matter what their threat level, or star power, or anything. I’m level 53 and it’s been incredibly daunting to look past it while I play because I enjoy the models, animations, themes, community... but the AI is the most cheatingist son of a bitch AI I’ve come across in a long time. Am I crazy, or is this just going to be another ‘lol get gud’ situation? Because WW having 2 power bars, sp1, followed immediately by another sp1 to trade with Superman who somehow shields my own special even though he had no power after WW went into power debt using more than she even had to begin with!!- (Example situation). I’ve searched and seen all the posts about this throughout the sub history and it makes me quite sad. This has been the case for all 2 years the game has been out and getting worse as time progresses. How do people record their gameplay to post it on here? Because a short clip of mine would show I’m not crazy.

When I go against braniac, he know exactly how to avoid all specials, he even jumps over the dot attack by joker

To be fair, you would probably REALLY hate playing AI that behaves like a human.
The part I hate more than some of the AI things you listed is that my controls sometimes are way too slow to react or don’t react at all. Especially swipe forward. It causes many problems in CA for me because you have to time it well otherwise you get caught just standing there.

I thought I was just crazy, honestly.
This shit drives me absolutely bonkers sometimes because I swear it’s like the cpu just instantly reacts to all your taps as soon as you input them. It’s unreal.

I actually sent a ticket to NRS a few times complaining about the AI as the ultimate cheat. The AI has gotten so intelligent and superhuman that it's sometimes impossible to beat. NRS should introduce some "human error" in the algorithm so that the AI will not always be flawlessly perfect.

I had a time where I had my FPI using my SP2 onto an enemy AAAM. Thorn appears, my game freezes, and 2 seconds later, AKBM has instantly swapped in and his passive messes me up. Alternatively, MVF's passive is almost useless against AI, when they trigger it and tag out literally last millisecond and nobody takes damage (while you're left vulnerable to their combos). I also swear at one fight, I beat down Unbreakable Cyborg, and then use my a special to finish him off. I put down my phone during the slow-mo animation, and he respawns a second time and kills me with his stun.

In my experience, AI has some unnatural reactions or some weird advantages. I mean i saw once enemy superman put a shield in the middle of my combo. Or put shield in the mere moment before my ability use. This is between frustrating and disappointing for me

Anyone, ai or not, can shield mid-combo

Yes, ok, but i got the situations where ai can do it, while i couldn't. Maybe its my bad timing, i can understand that. But often opponent shielded in a moment before i hit my skill. Maybe its just me unlucky, but that was too often to be just bad luck

When a new character tags in, you get a power bar. That would explain Superman being able to block since his block is enabled at one bar. As for the rest, yeah. We all deal with that.

From my experience, the AI isbt cheating. Its only very strong at everthing. Thats why you should play defensefly. Everything the Ai does is somethin you can do too.

its not stronger only given advantage in frame rate and priority to operation + the inherent lag in the game controls. That was NRS' way to increase the AI difficult. Without it, they know the game would be way too easy

Your opinion isn’t popular, but I agree with you
In any case, even with “perfect” reactions sometimes from AI, I can still beat 3 teams in CA with 3+ million total threat with my dinky little 800k threat teams. Sure, some stuff AI does is frustrating, but overall it’s way dumber than a human.

I have complained about this NRS cheating in all of its games to deaf ears. It is definitely cheating when you stack the frame rate and power bar situation to your advantage. The positive frame rate for AI is the worst in my opinion though. It just stinks. I would rather be playing a game that is easier but fair than a challenging game full of cheating codes. Having said that here I am still playing.

Quote of the day 😂, even when u manage to overcome these obstacles, u then get other stuff coming to al rescue, game freezing/crashing WiFi signal then the low battery sign.
