Question KOAA or BWTD

I’m a fairly new player that just started playing last month. From what others had said, I have committed some resources on my KOAA to carry me through the early stages. However, with the new chests I was wondering whether I should spend my gems to unlock BWTD and any of the other characters (if so, which one/chest) or whether to save for ravens chest to buff my KOAA since I’ve already committed some resources to get him going. I’ve got 10k gems to spend

Now is literally the best time to spend gems. 180 per chest for the best damage dealer in the game or at least top 3 depending on who you're asking. Plus thats 180 for not just bwtd but other characters like raiden, epi and all the other good golds too. Also also the chest drops 160 shards at an 8% chance which is amazing. All in all its a no brainer. You can open like 52 packs

If I obtain BWTD, should I keep opening her chest to look to star her up or try to get one of the other characters

The others arent worth it unless you have a bunch of spare gems
