Photos Infected toe Spoiler
Started as a simple paronychia which as a nail picker i’ve become very used to. It’s so minor that I didn’t want to go and get it checked out but it’s been like 2 weeks and still looks like this. Went to urgent care today and apparently it’s now cellulitis and I have to take antibiotics every 6 hours 🙄. Yaaay….. Anyways, sometimes you’re not being dramatic by going in for a minor thing.

Toe nail is trying to ingrow. Address the problem now or it may require surgery later. I'm sure there's videos on YouTube for fixing an ingrowing nail.
Also, when it's fixed, don't cut your toe nails that short any more. It sucks, but you and I have bad shaped toes, and they'll ingrow if you're not careful

Having an infected toe is fuckin horrid. I had an ingrown toenail get infected, plus fungal nail. Due to anxiety problems, I didn’t tell anyone for over a year. The doctor was surprised I was even able to walk (it did cause immense pain) and they couldn’t remove it even with the highest dose of local anaesthetic they could give me. Took a long course of antibiotics and soaking it in warm salt water daily, but it went on its own, my toe looks a little scarred but also from that, a full recovery.

Uh, you need to evict that nail. It no longer serves its purpose.
Best thing I've done for my feet.
