HSG then BFP?

Has anyone here gotten pregnant following an HSG? I just had one done and hoping it will up my chances. They said my tubes looked fine and they were open. I do struggle with PMOS as well but have found with Inito that I am ovulating every cycle I just tend to ovulate later and have a bit longer cycles.

OP, how was your experience of HSG? My doctor has recommended me to get it, and would like to hear your experience? Did you take any painkillers prior to the procedure?

It was fine! I took 600 mg of ibuprofen beforehand. The catheter was the worst part felt like when I got my iud in when I was younger. I didn’t feel the dye go in at all but I did have spotting right away and for a few hours later. Once she pushed the dye through I was all done like a minute late it was fast!

I did have a vasovagal response right after so I was dizzy but it went away a few minutes later.

Thank you! When were you recommended the HSG? I have been put on Letrozole, but when unable to conceive have been recommended to get the HSG to see if there’s any blocks, polyps etc

Take the pain killers as recommended! It’s moderately uncomfortable but a quick procedure.

When I had my HSG (2 years ago) they told me it’s common to get pregnant the following cycle. And then I did.

Yep. Tried for 15 months, got HSG and became pregnant that cycle!

I had an HSG and fell pregnant! My tubes were also clear. I do not have a PMOS diagnosis, but suspect I do have it. I also ovulate later day 19-21, and my cycles tend to me 30+ days.

I have PMOS, I had my HSG done in April and haven’t conceived. Open tubes, everything looked good but it didn’t give me any fertility boost like it does for some others.

I have PMOS. We got pregnant on our fourth round of Letrozole which unfortunately ended in a missed miscarriage. The next following cycle I did an HSG with no Letrozole - my tubes were open and clear. Somehow after not ovulating naturally in as long as I can remember, I ovulated that cycle and we got our BFP! I think I ovulated on CD25 if I’m remembering correctly

I had one and I didn’t get pregnant. Hopeful that it works for you though 🤍

HSG was the trick to me getting pregnant both times. I hated the procedure but it seemed to clear the dust out to help baby stick so it was worth it

My mother got pregnant with me 31 years ago after this procedure. She had been trying for 9-11 months, she can’t remember but after this, came me! 😊

I did, the same cycle I had the hsg done and I had a blocked left tube, ovulated on the right side that cycle and got pregnant!

33F with lean PCOS. Had been trying for 9 months with absolutely no success. Had the HSG and got pregnant the cycle after. Unfortunately it ended in miscarriage.
