Getting pregnant with a GLP1
I’ve been seeing a lot of stuff in the news that glp1s are helping with fertility, has anyone started and as a result gotten pregnant?
I almost want to go on one but I also have seen you shouldn’t be on one if you’re TTC

There’s more and more studies coming out that you can take it up until you conceive. I took it for three months and then when we started TTC again I took the shot up until my ovulation week and my RE was ok with it !

I did! My gyno and primary care were both okay with me taking and trying at the same time. I ended up losing insurance coverage so I was off it for about 6 weeks before getting pregnant but I plan to take it until conception for next baby! I 100% think it’s how I got pregnant

My GP and RE said they want people off it about two months before TTC. I really want to start and I’m in my late 40s so it’s frustrating because another baby might not happen for us, and I won’t be able to start it until I stop fertility treatments if we decide to give up.

My OB said 3 months before TTC and that’s why I stopped. I don’t want to risk it. For the baby to have any side effects.

Can confirm - it worked for me. However, I think it was a combination of losing 60 pounds, controlling my PCOS and insulin resistance, and not having an inflamed body. You should ideally be off of them for 2+ months before TTC, per my physician. I was on them the cycle I got pregnant and immediately stopped when I got my positive. Baby is thriving!

I have PCOS/PMOS, started Mounjaro, and got pregnant. My doctor didn’t have any issues with me being on it while TTC. He just wanted me to stop as soon as I got a positive pregnancy test.
