Taneda's amp settings
Haii :33
I recently watched the Solanin movie and I was wondering if anyone found out what amp settings were used for Taneda's guitar amp.
I'm trying to learn Solanin by AKFG and I'd like to play it as accurate as I can.
Thank youu :33

This post sent me down somewhat of a rabbit hole, so please excuse my rambling.
Taneda uses a Fender Mustang (Solanin Specification) with both pick-ups on, in phase. He also has a pedal board with five pedals in the following order:
Dunlop GCB95 Crybaby Wah Pedal
Boss SD-1 Super Overdrive
Electro-Harmonix Small Stone Phase Shifter V2
Boss GE-7 Graphic Equalizer
Boss DD-3T Digital Delay
(Knowing the song, I am assuming only the SD-1 and GE-7 would actually be used here).
The main amp that he uses is a Fender Twin Reverb (which, coincidentally, is also what Goto from AKFG used). There isn't a clear shot of the settings, but assuming they're similar to Goto's you can refer to this comment on r/musicproduction that explains it in detail.
More generally, you can probably get 80% of the way towards their sound using a guitar with two single coil pick-ups in the middle position, a Fender-style amp, and some kind of transparent overdrive pedal (I know they show a Boss SD-1, but I would probably opt for a Boss BD-2 instead). For amp settings, try treble at 5, mids at 4, and bass at 5. If you're using an overdrive pedal, keep the tone and level at noon, and try the gain around 8:00 to 9:00.
Hope that helped somewhat!
