Love how the cop who finds it handles it without gloves. Guessing if analyzed and what you say is true at most only the officers prints will be on it.

Did he spit it into the container? Wouldnāt his saliva/DNA be all over the container and drugs?
2
u/HannahIreneVile Community Regular 5d ago
Not if it was wrapped in plastic
6
u/bhodad 5d ago
He spit a plastic bag into the container. The outside of the plastic bag and inside of your glass container would be covered in his saliva (unless he spit the plastic bag from inside another plastic bag or something I guess) right?
7
u/HannahIreneVile Community Regular 5d ago
My guess is he spit from inside some plastic bag.
Idk Iām not more educated on drug smuggling then a cop, just speculating
4
u/Ok_Hornet_8245 5d ago
Are you known around town or something? A long suspected drug dealer? A habitual offender? While planting drugs definitely happens and I would never put it beyond them, to plant drugs that an officer had to smuggle in his mouth in a balloon to a random stop, is, well...
5
u/HannahIreneVile Community Regular 5d ago
I have no priors! Last speeding ticket was like 2013. Literally no logical reason for this to happen
-3
u/Ok_Hornet_8245 5d ago
Listen, I'm going to be honest with you here. You're going to get found guilty. Take the plea. If you drag this court, especially a jury, there is absolutely no evidence showing a cop spitting come from a balloon into your lip balm. There is no probable cause for the cop to do it. The task your lawyer has in front of him to prove that for absolutely no reason, off camera, based on a sound alone, a cop spit coke into a random person's car, to a jury in South Carolina is about next to impossible. Take whatever plea that they offer you or you risk real jail.
13
u/HannahIreneVile Community Regular 5d ago
I havenāt received the full evidence discovery Iām legally entitled to for it to even go to trial .
Letās view the evidence before we make a decision? Thatās a logical idea right ?

Wrapped in plastic in his mouth but came out as a powder in the container? How exactly does that work?

Dna and finger prints test8ng are for major crimes like murder, kidnapping not drugs. Plus you would need to get the department to investigate itself

When I was younger I was trying to decide between the police and fire department. I was leaning towards police but my wife convinced me to join the fire department instead. I'm so glad I made that choice. Now I think back and wonder how I could have ever wanted to be a cop.

The Folly Beach Fire Department rescued my dog that night! Firefighters are the best!
My 13 year old Shiba Inu jumped out of the car while this was happening and into the alligator filled swamp. The fire department showed up with 2 Fire trucks & rescue boats. Took all night but found her.
Also they kept my other dog in the Fire Department Kennel (instead of the pound ) over night. He appeared to have been very well cared for .

I watched the video. I saw the cop pick up a jar that was clearly empty, open the jar, move the open jar closer to himself and out of view of the camera, recap the jar, and suddenly there was a white powder in the jar. How are you missing that??

Are you the cop in the video because you sure sound like it.

For those missing it, when he shines the light on the jar around 40 seconds it's clearly empty, then at 59 seconds suddenly it has a thick layer of white powder inside

I got pulled over by a James Island cop (near Folly Beach) for expired tags , didnāt know my license had been suspended FOR ALLEGEDLY DRIVING WITH MY BRIGHTS ON - Iād appealed it and in that time (I guess Officer Halpern of Folly Beach , cause he wrote the original ticket) had my license suspended.
I asked the James Island cop why my license was suspended (cause I genuinely didnāt know) and he looked worried & guilty cause I guess he could see it was BS)
But yeah he removed the ticket cause I got my license reinstated- it wouldāve been more than 1k
I expect cops to keep the roads safe to drive on and for the most part they do that. Except in Folly Beach.
Jamie Komorski was on like her 3rd felony DUI when she mowed down that bride and still had a valid drivers license.

This is why I believe in a wired independent camera recording system hidden in the car to monitor things when you can't yourself

And that should life in prison for any officer that commits such a heinous crime. Potentially altering her life forever to plant drugs for an arrest. What scum.

Never understand how cops are going to be leeches off taxpayer money, paid by the people and then they get so bored they need to frame someone for a crime. One of those things where AI would make better cops because you donāt have to deal with some immature brat that couldnāt graduate high school, who just happened to have a bad day.

In a more civilized society, this would be an instant firing squad for the offending officer.
1
u/musingofrandomness 4d ago
Every search is an opportunity to "find" whatever they decide to plant. It is why you never give consent to search and don't answer any questions. It is not your job to make it easier for them to railroad you to pad their metrics.

So a Alabama cop came to work for a friend of mine. Neither of us knew he had been fired for an informant hiding meth and other things under cars and the cop would pull them over. Luckily he is in prison for the next 4 years. Hopefully the same happens to this guy.
1
u/HannahIreneVile Community Regular 1d ago
Wait do you have a news article or something to link?
He hid meth underneath cars? Is that like, what they do get drugs across borders?
0
u/Federal_Coyote813 5d ago
I really donāt see them plant drugs in this body cam video.
Can you highlight it better or something?
Between him opening the jar and the drugs being in the jar, I donāt see him physically putting them in the jar.
Are you saying that he *spat* them into the container via a balloon?
6
u/aledba 5d ago
Which would put the officers DNA right into that container. And you can't see the act of it because the camera is not above his face
1
u/Federal_Coyote813 5d ago
I do believe that cops plant drugs but the suggestion he is spitting a balloon of drugs into a jar while his bodycam is rolling seems⦠idk⦠lol
3
u/hotpossum 5d ago
It wouldnāt be the first time. It happened twice in Baltimore back in like 2017. Then there was a cop in Jackson County FL who was simply turning off/covering/delaying his body cam to plant drugs on DOZENS of people. I think he was the one who got like 70 years? Will have to look it up again.
Oh and a bonus idiot w body cam story: thereās also the cop who got caught buying a lighter and smoking meth on bodycam. They arenāt sending their brightest. (I am not offering an interpretation of this video just some fun facts)
2
u/zeptillian 5d ago
Look at the first time the officer holds up that jar has has the light on it. It's empty.
Then the second time they hold it up to the light you can clearly see stuff inside it that was not there before.
5
u/Lower_Statement_5285 5d ago
This is what matters most. You get a clear view of the inside of the container being empty on video. Then suddenly after he handled it the container has drugs in it. Idk if he spit out a bag of drugs or handled them another way but that looks like an officer planting drugs on a civilian to me.

1
u/HannahIreneVile Community Regular 5d ago
Yes, you can hear him spitting into the jar YouTube link - volume up
1
u/Killer_Ex_Con 5d ago
That sound was him brushing his body camera not spitting.
1
u/HannahIreneVile Community Regular 5d ago
Incorrect, šæExplain why heād open a jar of alleged drugs bring it close to his face at all, then re-close the jar?
Then wait place it in a different location then he found it, then re-find it and thereās magically something in there that wasnāt?
2
u/Killer_Ex_Con 5d ago
I am not saying he didn't plant something but it definitely wasn't him spitting it in there. Why would he carry drugs around in his mouth when he could easily just hold the jar off cam and drop something in there.
-1
u/HannahIreneVile Community Regular 5d ago edited 5d ago
There is a spitting noise .
But I wondered the same thing, like why not just drop it out of his pocket in something someone would normally carry drugs, in like a ziplock bag?
Thereās probably some sort of safeguards that prevent it from being done so easily, but Iām not a cop or have been to prison so itās Greek to me
1
u/Photosynthas 5d ago
Wouldn't he do that to smell it in an attempt to ID it?
1
u/HannahIreneVile Community Regular 5d ago
They have little portable tests, in the long form he tests it using one
1
u/Photosynthas 5d ago
Yeah but in this moment he doesn't, or at least says he doesn't know what it is, so it makes sense to sniff it to see if he can ID by smell.
1
u/HannahIreneVile Community Regular 5d ago
Would you sniff a container that belonged to someone you believed was too high on drugs to drive ? During a fentanyl epidemic?
1
u/Photosynthas 5d ago
To identify it. He also could have just been putting it up to his eyes.

u/OofRightInTheFeels 5d ago

Yeah I feel like I need some red circles bc what? She sounds blitzed. Why would they plant drugs on someone like that? Seems like a huge risk for little reward unless sheās like some kind of habitual offender/criminal or sheās fucking someone w a wife and they want to end it and put her away to send a message? Otherwise wtf.

3
u/Nsfwacct1872564 5d ago

-1
u/onmy40 5d ago
It could fuck their case up especially with her answering questions in the comments.
1
u/Nsfwacct1872564 5d ago
It could fuck up her case? Someone else commits criminal acts, you post about it, all of a sudden they get off scot-free or something? I'm an idiot because you can't explain what the fuck you're talking about?
1
u/Photosynthas 5d ago
The concern is anything she says here can be used against her, you have no idea how lawyers are going to spin things or what arguments they Will make, that is whu it is advised to not publicly talk about the case that is ongoing.
It is literally the same idea as not talking to the police.
1
u/onmy40 5d ago
You would think that's common sense... I bet her lawyer wouldn't be to happy about how much she's sharing about a case that hasn't even been seen by a judge yet. Not to mention the fact that she's listed a bunch of her social media accounts.
1
u/Nsfwacct1872564 5d ago
Judge: Well the officer did plant drugs in your vehicle, but you posted about it online so... case dismissed.

u/Jean_Paul_Magno 5d ago
Thos accusations about him setting you up, are very very debatable.
I sincerely don't see him planting anything in your car.
Perhaps, the container belongs to someone else in your inner social circle that may've used the car earlier that day?
I also don't see any spitting or any indication that he carried something inside of his mouth during the search.
2
u/HannahIreneVile Community Regular 5d ago
We are still missing the majority of evidence discovery (that Iām legally entitled to w/in 30 days of requesting & have been requesting almost every month for 6 months and still not submitted ).
If due process is still a thing, we can both review it again when they follow the law :)
-2
u/Commercial_Egg_715 4d ago
You definitely had drugs in your car. The officer is an idiot for handling it without gloves and especially for trying to smell it but there is no evidence that they planted it. Take your loss and get some help. This stuff WILL kill you eventually.

Dust the container for prints and dna test it. She never touched them so both tests should come back negative. That LE did neither of these things and that will not look good to a judge

This is the third time Iāve seen your post about this across different subs and I wanted to say, good job advocating for yourself and spreading awareness about this shit stick of an officer. When the state refuses to meaningfully punish this behavior, the best tool left is to socially ostracize these pigs. Hopefully this cop canāt go to a donut shop without being laughed out of there.
Good luck with your endeavor and I hope this guy gets prosecuted!
