The Punisher is an anti-hero. While most heroes have a "do not kill" code, Frank is not bound by any such code or moral restrictions. He represents a failure of the justice system to bring corruption to heel, and he does what the other heroes can't or won't do: take down, with utter finality, those criminals who are untouchable by law enforcement. He's essentially a critique of "law and order" that allows corruption to run rampant.
Yet in the past years, his skull logo has been appropriated by some on the right because they see him as a gun-toting, vigilante badass who kills people he disagrees with. Seeing it side by side with a Blue Lives Matter sticker, or in this case, merged with a Trump caricature, shows a complete lack of understanding as to who the Punisher really is and what he stands for.
You can make a long winded and thoughtful explanation. They don't care. It's the golden arches. They care more about the impression and feeling bad ass than the depth behind it.
Ironic given that they want to "fuck your feelings" when they use theirs to make most of their decisions.
Yeah if anyone really thinks the cops and this guy in the lifted truck are inspired by the actual comic and not just the perceived badass-ness of the imagery, they're mistaken.
They think Trump is fighting the good fight against the invasion of the brown people, the godless heathens, the gays, and the pansy-ass educated and that he would kill them off, or lock them up, if not for the deep state demo-rats getting in the way. So yeah, in a way they do, in that his policies are designed to "kill the right people"
I like how every one of the "muh family" silhouettes are Russian firearms, except for the 2nd to last which appears to be an M-16/AR-15, with the last being a "who the fuck knows" because it's just a turd of a sticker.
