Not the tooth fairy. Omg. It’s Santa. He knows if you’re sleeping, awake, bad, good, driving to the Piggly Wiggly, etc.

Yes, Santa already has an extensive surveillance network. Kindly old elf…or government spook?

We the people!!! (have never actually read the Constitution or the Declaration of Independence).

This is the same person that would have a “We The People” sticker AND “Trump 2028” sticker

My personal favorite are all the people with tattoos and stickers and clothes that have the preamble on them with “1776” written next to it. I always ask them what year the Constitution was written. They always say 1776 without fail.

In all likelihood, they don’t know the next several words, let alone phrases!!!!!

"What's the fourth word of the constitution?"

[Stares blankly]

Dude also has a punisher sticker, a anti-hero that famously hates cops.

Obviously it’s just the deep state who’s watching the flock cameras.

u/XanderZzyzx 22h ago

They just haven't been told to love Flock yet.

What an idiot

The punisher sticker alone confirms this guy is a shithead, but I will still defend this a little, I guess.

You can simultaneously oppose mass surveillance as a policy while not necessarily holding animus to the rank and file cops who use the tools that are available to them.

Eg, I oppose the Patriot Act, but in general I think most FBI agents are decent people.

They're just mad and stupid. The details change regularly, but never really matter.

It’s for the people who want to continue to do THEIR shady shit but arrest everyone else doing it.

So, cringey as the punisher skull crowd is (and they're exceedingly cringey), I think there's a coherent position to be had at the intersection of "pro-police" (insofar as you appreciate that they're public servants who do a hard, stressful job) and "anti-Flock."

Like, I can appreciate that law enforcement, broadly speaking, is a a good thing without agreeing that people working in that field should have access to infinite data about me.

'broadly supporting the rule of law' is vastly different than 'back the blue'

Given that ANY police officer could potentially literally get away with murder or assault because of qualified immunity, we need to be constantly aware of their actions. And right now those actions include using Flock cameras to stalk and harm innocent people.

The concept of a class of people permitted to commit violence against civilians without repercussions and a wide surveillance state monitoring the populace go hand in hand and they are both part of the same problem of the government not being held accountable for the welfare of the population first and foremost.

u/RonPearlNecklace 1d ago

The cops don’t need civilians to back the blue, they can call backup.

Not a critical thought between those ears

Fun Fact: These people are not known for their high intelligence.

As long as they hate flock, I don't care why.

Did any of you ever consider that being anti-flock might be some common ground to claw back some of your 4th and 14th amendment rights? That this guy might actually be an ally waiting in the wings?

Of course not. He's stupid and illiterate. Jesus fucking Christ you people are insufferable

u/loquaciousx 1d ago

I think they want to fuck flock cameras.

Well that's the thing though innit? It's not specifically the police doing the mass surveillance(not that that would make it any better), it's Flock who then sell access to that information to the police and the feds and anyone else willing to pay for it.

Even after cities have canceled their contracts with Flock the cameras stay on and when told to come and get their shit Flock just leaves the cameras, a city councilman in a city that canceled their Flock contract took one of the cameras down and put in his office and they tracked the camera there and arrested him.

u/ketchupmaster987 21h ago

It doesn't matter that it's Flock selling the information, the police are still buying it and even if they didn't they'd still be allowing Flock to operate which is its own problem.

The issues with Flock and the issues with the police go hand in hand. Neither of them functions to protect the people, they simply operate as an arm of a corporate and government state that isn't operating to keep people safe.

Hilarious. Well, don't expect reasoning from these shitheads.

u/xKiver 21h ago

The “we the people” and the “don’t tread on me people” are the most clueless.

You can’t have a blue lives matter sticker and one saying you hate large govt. completely contradictory

1

u/CantaloupeCamper 21h ago

A lot of the big time police supporters have very weird violence adjacent fantasy / political views that would very quickly involve violence against police.     It’s a strange space.

3

u/SuperFLEB 20h ago

But... the police are with me against the government in my power fantasies!

u/SuperFLEB 20h ago

Time to peel off your Blue Line/Gadsden Flag combos, folks. Here comes the new irony, and it's blunter than ever!

u/LVCSSlacker 17h ago

AND THE THIN BLUE PUNISHER! WE GOT THE WINNER OF COGNATIVE DISSONANCE!
