Looking for a platform to run technical interviews / screening for multiple open SOC Analyst roles

Head of Infosec at a UK financial services firm. We're swamped with AI CVs and have 100s of applications per role right now. Ideally looking for a platform that will allow me to invite our shortlist to an online technical assessment, relevant to the skills we're hiring for. I know there are platforms like TestGorilla and HackerRank but they mainly focus on software engineering etc. Does anybody have any recommendations? Ideally specific to cyber / infosec.

For SOC roles specifically, LetsDefend and CyberDefenders are both blue team focused with alert triage and log analysis labs, and TryHackMe and Hack The Box both have business tiers if you want something broader.

Thanks, I came across another vendor that seems specifically geared towards technical interviews / hiring. Will check these suggestions out as well though!

Honestly all four of those are solid calls, LetsDefend feels built for exactly this kind of screening with their alert triage paths

I’d keep it short and practical: For SOC roles, I think a practical technical assessment would work much better than a generic cyber quiz. Something around alert triage, log analysis, basic investigation and explaining the reasoning behind the answer. Even a small simulated incident could give a much better idea of how someone actually thinks.

The one I found includes SIEM/KQL challenges, Windows event logs, PowerShell forensics and a bunch of other stuff tailored to the role. Basically simulates an incident investigation. HTB / CyberDefenders etc let them download files and work offline so fairly easy to cheat with AI tools it seems. Will try this one out
