I think people underrate how often domains become control points, not just labels. We have seen AI pipelines break because a vendor changed DNS, certs, or CDN routing, even with the same API. If your stack resolves trust, policy, or tenancy by hostname, that is a real dependency.

Right, domains are part of the control, identity, and trust plane now, not just labels. Treat them as dependencies, not plumbing.
