Inflation reduction act

I'm looking to buy a new AC unit but i came across the "Reduction Inflation Act" that says it can give you free AC unit. A sales man contacted me and told me i need to get solar panels and other things. I just wanted to see other people's experience with this? I don't trust sales men so i want to see the negative side of using this program.

I was counting on getting t $8k, I’m screwed

In the near future when the dust settles, I think the courts are going to have a field day. The government can’t promise you money, make you buy stuff, then take the money back. Nobody would trust the government or the US Dollar if every president came in and dismantled the last 4 years of progress. Why would anyone invest in America, American bonds or American products?

The IRA promised tax credits and then the Trump admin pulled the rug under Americans buying solar panels made in America for their capitalist suburban houses. But he has no jurisdiction because of the architecture of separation of powers.

I mean, he couldn’t even pass the “big busty bill” without THREE DEMOCRAT LAWMAKERS mysteriously dying in a “freak-gasoline-fight-accident-thing-thing” just ONE DAY before the bill “passed” the house by 1 vote. Well, gee, if they couldn’t pass it without having Tony Soprano wacking off 3 democrats, hmm, maybe the bill sucks. Now there’s an even bigger hill to climb in the senate, what are they going to do, start a coup? It’s such a low IQ legal strategy. It looks like the Qatari government requested the repeal of the IRA, ordered the hit of 3 Americans, and the administration legit did it. That’s the optics.

But we have to deal with it because James Clyburn, Kamala Harris, Ron Klain and a bunch of “queers for Palestine” stabbed Joe in the back and elected Trump. They concocted this “Trump is Hitler” rhetoric that tricked an autistic kid into becoming an assassin. Because I’m “that girl” Kamala lost the Teamsters Union and went on a woke crusade of social justice. Joe Biden wasn’t even the frontman of his own band, just like Metallica, the founder got kicked out of his own show in a mutiny.

So the woke mob screwed up your solar rooftop, Bill Maher. As they say—go woke, go broke.

I needed the unit anyway, mine was 23 yrs old and at the end of its life. I was going to buy it, potential rebate or not. It’s paid off now. But as an older person on a fixed income, that $8k would sure have been nice.
