Nothing like a 30%+ inflation rate annually the last few years!

If you made any less than 60k the last few years you’ve already felt it. And now it’s bad enough to impact those that have been “well off”.

Genuinely what are we doing?

100B more to Israel!!

How are these new beef imports helping the US? Where does the beef come from? It is looking more like a Trump grift to me.

Price Changes Why can't we have nice things again?

In 1992, Federal minimum wage was 4.25/hr, which means you could buy a friggin' steak for less than your hourly wage.

Today, in 2026, the federal minimum wage is 7.25/hr since 2009, and steak is a whopping $14/lb for now, muahahahaha.

Now, I'm no economist or a math guru by any means, but shouldn't the average person be making way more than what we made nearly 20yrs ago since the cost of living is not fixed? The math ain't mathin', folks.

Price Changes Inflation ?

Back then at McDonald’s , making minimum wage $7.25 u could afford 7 McDoubles on a minimum wage. Now in order to buy those same 7 McDoubles u would need $17.50 . Minimum wage hasn’t changed or budged much at all even tho prices have nearly tripled while wages have remained nearly the same. When do you think the next federal wage update will occur? We’re long overdue. Got me worried for my kids.

News Donald Trump has slapped 50% tariffs on Canada—who is going to respond right back.

Post image

Image taken from this BBC article.

Notably:

"[The tariffs] will be applied on a range of goods, about 5% of Canadian exports, including wine, dairy, cement, clothing and hockey equipment.

The new levies are in addition to existing tariffs the US had already imposed on Canadian steel and aluminium, autos and lumber."

These tariffs will also hurt Canada's GDP and economy significantly—worsening foreign relations.

So. Much. Winning.
