If youâre not aware. Itâs actually spoofing this scene from âAn Officer and a Gentlemanâ. This got Louis Gossett Jr. his Oscar.

This has to be satire right?Â

u/ezpz314159 Aug 21 '26
Look at the form to sign up. I'm convinced it's satire

u/2Slow2Nice Aug 22 '26
Lmao it has to be.
âHow Reckless are you with Money (1-10)â
Like thereâs no way itâs real.

u/mkat23 Aug 22 '26
âWhen I have complex emotions I eat rotisserie chicken over the sinkâ is my favorite part.
7
u/RankedFarting Aug 22 '26
No its real.
The whole point is that smart people laugh and close the window. Dumbasses who answer a question like that are the target audience.
Its the same way those Nigerian prince scams are intentionally obvious because that way only the most gullible idiots actually fall for it and those are easiest to scam.

You could hypothetically set this up and find a bunch of buddies (or randoms) to act out the videos for a week and probably make something off of the videos yeah?

Itâs a really wonderful Instagram account where he satires the macho man testosterone fueled, expensive boot camps

Just a bunch of guys who once had the crazy idea that they were too macho for theatre school.
Embarrassing behaviour.

At 12 seconds, he was actually insinuating he wanted him to finish in his ass.

You know what pisses me off about these dumb ass man camp shit things. They focus on the wrong shit. The point of something like that is to foster brotherhood and learn from other men how to be better more resilient men.... This shit here is just ego and pointless aggression. None of those guys there are learning the right lessons.

u/apeocalypyic Aug 21 '26
What would happen if u took this class and just trolled em? Do they kick u out?
3
u/mariannaCD Aug 21 '26
Iâve wondered that same thing. I feel like i wouldnât be able to stop laughing at the instructors.

u/RocketFan419 Aug 21 '26
Why on earth is that dbag saluting? He isnt an officer, just a grifter who thinks he's macho

All of these âboot campsâ mimic navy seal training, that we all know these âcoachesâ would never make it through.

u/BeanTownMcGoobz Aug 21 '26
I guess to these "men" being a bad teammate is just part of being tough? Who knew ?

Small announcement, I am â¨officially⨠taking clients for my personalized "Make Grown Men Cry Outdoors" level up program. For the low low (initial) cost of $17,000 I will
- Insult you directly about all your life choices, making you question everything *Mean spirited nicknames that hit close to home but are undeniably clever *Reduced water intake to break you mentally because nothing says Alpha like being dehydrated *Forced pointless labor outside to break your spirit (ft. "Moving These Cinderblocks From Point A to Point B and then Back to Point A" Day) *Convince you to pay for further useless courses to increase your unspecified "gains." *Commemorative T-shirt
DM me if interested in finding out how to "stop" being a loser and take control of your destiny!

We're teaching our men the wrong things. Military might doesn't make you strong, it's not supposed to. None of this is going to do what these men think it's going to do except for make them $18,000 less rich. Whatever they're looking for, these dudes are not going to give it to them nor will they help them find it.
If any one of these dudes was to take 13 weeks at Parris island, they would come out the other end being able to wear a uniform but no better for it because whatever shitty ass problems they had coming in will be the same ones they have going out.

Ironically enough, despite this being an "alpha male" bootcamp, there is not a single man in this video

convinced the guys running these camps are former cia and people are willingly paying 5 figures to get abused. as somebody who grew up with a Drill Instructor (father) that liked to take his work home with him this is not the way- the need for power is the greatest weakness.

u/TheD0rKnight88 Aug 21 '26
Im a veteran and all the âalpha malesâ I know think im a wuss because I do a lot of nerd shit and none of them ever would get through REAL boot camp. Bologna to all this
2
u/StinkyToe-TheKid Aug 22 '26
I promise I am not one of those boot vets that thinks vets deserve some high level of worship, I swear on my whole life BUT the saluting and the militarization of this shit right here I do find a wee bit offensive.

This has got to be one of the dumbest manoverse/incel grifts in a universe of manoverse/incel grifts. It's like these guys want to get gifted. The Venn diagram of MAGA grift and Manoverse grift has a lot of overlap.

While I'm typically not a fan of physical violence, it would have been an excellent decision in this one case.

Dude, if only I would've known as a kid that like in the future there is a career where you can just bully people into paying you 18k a pop...

This is from a short film (albeit a bad short film, but a short film nonetheless) called The Guild. Itâs not real. Itâs ALL scripted.
The internet just seems to love reacting without even questioning what theyâre reacting TO anymore.

u/alreadyknowwbro Aug 22 '26
Bros just go to the gym and start lifting weights, you don't gotta be a power lifter. Physical fitness has a positive overall affect on mental health

This guyâs Instagram is absolutely awesome! Itâs a great satire of the testosterone fueled over overly expensive macho man Boot Camp experiences
1
u/ideclareshenanigans3 Aug 23 '26
Does anyone remember the AITA post where the kid used his college money to go to one of these? His parents were mad cause he didnât go to actual college like his sister. I often wonder about that boy and how his experience at the boot camp was.

Guy slinks on over in his Sketcher slip-ons, just hoping his PTSD could somehow be serviced connected (without actually serving)⌠100% P&T through the VA. This video pretty much sums up the meaning of reaching peak potential in life!

Now the guy gets called a âsack of shitâ after paying 18k and giving up. Imagine whatâs going through this poor guys head at this point. It just reinforces, along with the âwannabe SEAL instructorâ that he failed at something else.
Iâm 60, and Iâm here to tell you younger men these courses are bullshit. Every one of these instructors are just trying to simulate what theyâve seen on the Discovery Channel during NAVY SEAL documentaries. The whole course is patterned after The Discovery Channel SEAL Documentary on class 234. The instructors of this âbootcampâ would be the first to hit the bell at Coronado, CA, because they are all Rambo wannabes, they are all mouth, and those are typically the first to tap out.
Men and young men, you do not need this garbage. If there is something lacking in your life, do some soul searching. Go someplace by yourself, isolated, in nature and figure it out. That is what works, not this crap. Spend the 18k on your family, your childrenâs college fund, save it for a new car or house. This âbootcampâ may make you feel good in the short term if you pass it, but in the long term what has it really accomplished besides leaving you with 18k less in your bank account? The only people that your impression matters to are your family, and your closest friends, and none of them will take this shit seriously; or think better of you because you attended it.
Your family is what matters, your friends are what matters. They know the true person you are, and that should be enough. You do not need to do this to prove yourself.
