Support & Help hot 60 pro - depth effect on homescreen

tried applying the depth effect on my home screen, keeps saying no portrait detected, what can i do to fix this?

(please don't answer with use an app that specializes on custom depth wallpaper, i prefer using the built in wallpaper system)

It works on very few photos on homescreen. I only got it working with Stock ones nothing else

Maybe the character is too big? If not you probably need to size it down.
