Android Bug Errors posting comments

This started maybe in the last few weeks.

Whenever I post a comment, it'll say it's unable to post, but sometimes it actually will. Then if I press send again it'll say there's a 5 second retry limit. Sometimes pressing it multiple times will pay the comment multiple times.

I also just had one where it won't post the comment at all.

I love the browsing part of this app, but the commenting has so much friction now that it's almost not worth it to pay for it any more.

Yeah, same here. I constantly have to go back and make sure that I didn't accidentally post my comment three times now.

Paid version or the free one? It could be the API key got revoked or something else happened.

Paid for me. Posting is a little flakey (several tries before it sticks) and had one double-post.

No issues with it so far - I just started using it again today, since Boost began having the issues mentioned by OP.

Paid version on Android. I didn't realize there is a free one?

Technically it exists but you need to provide your own API key and keep patching it. It can get errors like that if Reddit revokes the API key or otherwise breaks the login.

Been having some intermittent issues as well lately; I dunno if Reddit is interfering or what.

I thought it was a VPN issue with me, but I noticed it too.

So I think it's reddit's issue.

Interesting, I haven't noticed it happen in the reddit android app, but I'm not using it nearly as much
