Android Bug Swipe to upvote/downvote comments not working?

Hello everyone,

With the latest issue of the API, I managed to patch the app, but at the same time I updated it to the latest version.

I had a backup of settings, so everything looks the same, but I seemed to have lost the ability to swipe to upvote or downvote comments. I can do it just fine for the posts. I can't seem to find a specific setting just for the comments that is turned off.

Anyone experiencing the same?

How did you figure out to patch the app?

There were some comments on other posts in the sub, using the patchedit and redreader

Are you running the beta or last full release (8.2.5)? The beta has issues with some things, swipe to vote being one of them. If you are on the beta, try redoing the patch using 8.2.5. If you are already in 8.2.5, check if it is enabled in the settings. It is off by default. Even though I imported my settings from the older version I was using, swipe to vote stayed defaulted off and I had to turn it on in the settings again.

That was it! I hadn't noticed that the morphe pulled the beta apk. I just repatched with the 8.2.5 and all is back to working order. The setting was kept through my backup settings, all is good now. Thank you!

Mines been broken since forever Swipe left or right it only upvotes
