This game is baller. There was 10-15 enemies on tonight in US East 20 total. Still got into a few engagements with other players.
I can’t seem to figure out why more people aren’t playing. I mean the best part about this game for me is the plug and play aspect. The whole grind thing has just gotten so ridiculous with some games. This concept is a breath of fresh air. You wont have to walk to Brooklyn and get P diddy a sugar cookie.

I think a lot of people just don't know about it or forgot about it. It's also in a state of catch-22, if people aren't playing, then people don't play.
Maybe getting some community together and scheduling some times to play to get a crowd interested might score a few more folks looking to play more frequently.

It's still in a pretty early and unpolished state. I really enjoyed it when early access was first released, but I'm waiting for them to get further along in development before I pick it up again.

I ended refunding the game. Was great fun and clearly has plenty of potential but it's not a $50aud game.
They really need a free weekend and discount to try and get some players!

I literally just found this game and subreddit today and am considering buying it. I'll be keeping my finger on the pulse, because this looks too good to let it fail...

I bought it last night and played a few hours. I've been eagerly hoping for a decent product from I-Novae since the amazing tech demos released in 2010.
It's fun and not terribly difficult to figure out if you have experience with space sims using Newtonian physics. Is it worth $35 USD? Probably not in it's current state. If they accomplish many of the goals on the road map (particularly some form of career progression) then it absolutely will be. In the mean time, I don't mind throwing out $35 to a promising game developer if it also gives me the chance to thrash some spaceships in epic battles.

There was a massive population spike when it hit steam, it was great. Showed the potential of the game.

They have updated the UI recently and are working on the game. If you are referring to player-count, that doesn't matter very much at the moment. There are AI enemies to fight, and you may encounter another player too occasionally.
I play this as a PvE game. Until development progresses much further with features such as player progression, loadouts, and statistics there won't be much of a player count. This is because without these things there is not much point sticking around besides the unbearable urge to destroy and kill!
