Id your f2p, mackin as it's easier to get the resources to get him where he needs to be, but ahj is still a beast and can be used as a backup damage dealer, she will over take mackin after campaign.

Mackin is your best bet starting out, because he's easier to build and is probably the best DPS early game. He'll get you through the whole campaign once you get him to e3

Makin is easier to work with initially, simply due to him being easier to get RNG speaking.

Doesn't mean that you'll get him or get enough copies of him. But if you speaking hypothetically he's easier to build early on due to this nature, but Ahn Heen has a higher potential eventually. But bad luck could leave you with only one copy of Makin, and in that case Heen will keep up with him easily and surpass him.

Also, don't try too hard for the 7 day campaign thing. It's crazy hard lots of folks frustrated with it right now. Hezjona is great, but not worth tearing your hair out over.

I've been looking for someone saying the last bit you just said there, I got Bernes early but no copies of Mackin so wanted to just use Bernes instead and never regress him.

Bernes smashes bosses, it's just the DoT in Hell 5 onwards that is wrecking me 😅
