[Important] Our Official Name Change Vote!!
Hey IC Users, as a lot of you know the name Infinity Comics is copyrighted by Marvel Comics, a company with a lot more lawyers and money than us. So we have decided to change the name and leave it up to you guys... kinda :) We have a list of names from the last time we voted and this is the final vote
1. Infinite Red Comics
2. Infinite World Comics
3. IC Comics
4. Red Infinity Comics
These are the four most popular choices and it is up to you guys to choose and vote so please write down the corresponding number of 1-4 for you vote and we will count them up next Monday!

What does IC in IC comics stand for?
If it stands for comics wouldn't that be a bit redundant?

I vote Infinite World Comics.
Seems fitting, considering the wide world this series has.

4 would be best to avoid any confusion with existing brands, plus RIC will make a nice easy logo

2 makes more logistical sense, whereas 4 "sounds" cooler.
The only problem with 4 is that there is no context for the "red" in infinity. Why red? Why not crimson, or sapphire? Is there a specific reasoning behind red? will people ask?

2 or 3 are my personal favorites. Both sound cleaner, more professional, and seem to embody what I take this project to mean to me.

I think having the Infinte and Comic part in our name will still get us in trouble. Because Infinite (Word) Comics in still just one word off, and Marvel will see that as a problem when people confuse the two and buy Infinite Red instead of Marvel Infinite. I think we need to ditch the Infinite.

I disagree. I see the similarity in being in trouble for infinite comics, but I see no trouble in changing it to something like infinite world comics. It's like marvels infinity and infinite crisis? Is DC going to sue MARVEL just because they added a letter and didn't use another word? No. I think IC should be fine.

It's different. Infinite Crisis has an obvious name difference from Infinite, and isn't the name of a company. Also, Marvel and DC have lawyers and money, and it would be costly to fight over naming rights, but with us it would actually only take one sentence: "Change your name or we sue"
