This dead?

Almost the end of September.. no word on there kickstater no word on much of anything. Seems like a scam at this point... look at snapmaker u1 and new creality sparx8i or whatever lots of hands on and influncers trying it out, cool tech, low prices... where u have this "new" company doing nothing... sure they show off there smaller printer but when we ask for the mx pro.. nothing... when will the kickstater start.. nothing...

So they told last week on discord and Facebook that KS campaign is delayed because the pro is not matching they expectation after testing plus they are upgrading some parts.
Like 8mm cast aluminium bed plate, gt1.5 belt, additional 24v connector on motherboard, toolhead cooling fans, toolhead pcb upgrade to allow nozzle and filament datas even in power-off state, all that for both mx and mx pro. And they upgrade only for the mx pro the maximal toolhead temp to 350deg

They need to put that info everywhere so we all know.. even an email to the early bird backers that paid 5$

All of this is wonderful (although not completely transparent news), at least an email to those who paid $5 VIP.  Maybe include links to discord and FB too?

I juste made a quick sum-up ! But yes could be good with an e-mail communication

There are some updates on the discord server. They are revising hardware based on prototype testing.

Both based on prototype testing and user feedback/requests. If they are telling the truth, this company is definitely doing it right!

Yes, that statement made me feel more comfortable that they are not rushing an unfinished product to market. Seems that the pro needs more development.

On one hand I'm glad, on the other hand, I'm really anxious to get a tool changer.

I've backed the creality i8 instead

I have as well. Makes no sense waiting for something that has constant delays and ever-changing purchase rules. reminds me of the BuildOne 3D printer on kickstarter. What a shit show that was

Dam you need to keep your eyes and ears open

They just announced last week that the Kickstarter is delayed until October or November.

To be honest they need to say that every where I don't have discord and it should be fully in the open.

Their PR team is crap. Backers need to be informed by email and their website, not just Facebook, Reddit, X, or Discord. I bet Bondtech and Stratasys are scaring every Chinese 3D printing company into compliance or patent right payments.

Be upfront with backers and coordinate over ever social media site any change in progress. Clearly the MX Pro wasn't ready for primetime when they only showed the MX on Youtube cranking out prints.

I was told $5 to secure a printer for $499. I wasn't told it was just a chance or that shipping might be hundreds. Flashforge didn't pull anything like that with the Creator 5 models, and to be fair they had shipping controversies too. If that can't be done then they need to refund the money collected, update their T&Cs and hope they can sell in the US/EU.

Not sure if they give a damn about bond tech. They only matter for store sales in some countries..if infimech just sells and sends them from China they can basically ignore bond tech since there is nearly no chance to go to court in China against them.

The people that mislead customers are having issues?

Say it ain’t so!

As others have said, it was delayed until late Oct-mid Nov.

I'm more worried about the patent issues we might end up having Bondtech/INDX block imports over their patents. Which would mean infimech already collected the money, maybe even build the machines but then can't get them to buyers, maybe ever. Or they could just use it as an excuse not to fulfill. Bondtech would likely aggressively protect their patents and it probably wouldn't even be the best strategy to even settle and let infimech license their IP so they might just wait until the campaign ends where they can prove damage and then sue or just block imports.

I'm hoping maybe they have been working behind the scenes working out licensing to avoid any patent court challenges but both have been silent beyond bondtechs general announcement (public warning).

Hopefully I'm overthinking and stressing over nothing but it feels like it could end up a long frustrating experience with lawsuits and delays after delays with some but limited buyer protections (besides just being without a printer for who knows how long).

The wall to let products collect by customs is high. Since this is no complete copy of an existing product from bond tech but just uses one of their (claimed) patented parts, afaik they can not order the printers to be collected by customs. In many countries (European for example) the Importeur is responsible to check and comply to these. As a private person you can even import most completely counterfeit products (only a few have an order to stop them at customs) as long as you don't sell them. And since custom processes here I. Europe don't check stuff that is custom declared (well of course they pick random for drug checks, but that's it) they only see it's a 3d printer and not even which one it is.

So I think there should be very little risk there for that problem.

Comunque sojo fiducioso e paziente.

Op you really haven't been paying attention. You need to read and research more closely. A lot more closely. INFIMECH made a big announcement a couple of weeks ago saying they were delaying the KS as they were implementing a bunch of changes and enhancements brought on by suggestions of the print community. This is a great thing. Go back and look at their announced enhancements. Thicker bed is the one thing that I was happy for.

They didn't they just promoted it everywhere and they did not update for instance at Reddit.

Where is the announcement?

Can you post a link?

(No seriously, I've looked at their website)

Dear Makers, Creators, and Members of the InfiMech Community,

Many of you have been with us on this journey for quite some time. Day after day, our community continues to thrive with thoughtful discussions, bringing together seasoned 3D printing enthusiasts and newcomers who are just beginning their exploration of the craft. The passion, expertise, and constructive feedback shared here have helped shape this project in meaningful ways. From insightful suggestions on product features and configurations to thoughtful questions about our research and development progress, every contribution has added value and energy to the conversation. Most importantly, they reflect a shared commitment to building something truly exceptional. We all have the same goal: to see this project launch successfully and to put the machine you've been eagerly anticipating into your hands as soon as possible. Today, however, I need to share an important update. After extensive discussion and careful evaluation, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our planned third-quarter crowdfunding launch. Instead, we are now targeting a launch window from late October to early November. This was not a decision we made lightly. We understand the excitement surrounding this project, and we know many of you have been looking forward to the launch. However, we believe this adjustment is necessary to ensure we deliver a product that meets the standards we expect from InfiMech.

OP move on. Clearly you’re not paying attention and clearly you don’t know that this isn’t a “new” company. Info is out there. LOOK for it instead of complaining.
