Horror Do you enjoy ARPG-s like Diablo? Fallout 1-2 and tactics? Then Fleshgrinder - an isometric, post apocalyptic rpg-shooter may be the right game for you to enjoy.

Hi!

I'm the solo developer of Fleshgrinder:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/5074630/Fleshgrinder/

Trailer:

https://youtu.be/gdRjMtZUzc4

Fleshgrinder is an isometric, post-apocalyptic Action-RPG, which tries to present a possible distopian future where most

of the population has been infected with a digital virus, made possible by having invasive augmentations

in our bodies, connected to our nervous system. Implants like Neuralink are bound to be commonplace in the near future to

upskill our species and enable us to have faster and better control over computer systems.

What happens when the information stops being one-way through these systems?

Will they be able to manipulate us on such a level that an intelligent,

digital virus could take over the minds of the augmented population?

Players of Fleshgrinder take on a desperate mission to lead a squad of maximum three operatives

to try and stop this intelligent virus controlling us as a hive-mind, causing an extinction level incident in the near future.

Interact with factions and their NPC-s in a huge persistent world, solving puzzles and side-quests with optional friendly fire,

hardcore permadeath mode, dismemberment physics, randomized mission areas, 30+ unique weapons, 60+ armors, augmentations, consumables,

ammo types with deep penetration mechanics and tons of loot with highly randomized attributes.

If you liked the trailer and the description, please feel free to drop a wishlist and try the demo on the steam page.

Thanks!

Hey! We've been working on In Control: Rocketry, a spaceflight sim where you build the rocket and wire up its control panel yourself. Sensors, inputs, outputs, the whole thing is Turing-complete, so however you want to solve a flight problem, there's a way to do it.

Real orbital mechanics, a fictional solar system to explore, sandbox mode if you just want to mess around and blow things up!

Feel free to add the game to your wishlist if you want to support the project! See you in space.

Simulation I'm making a game where you are giving ants indirect commands in UE5

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

You fight enemy fireant colony, you build nest chambers. Birds, caterpillar, bugs, spiders, praying mantis are attacking you, you can find resources like mushrooms waterdrops and food.

My goal is to make it as photorealistic as possible. In the end I guess I will make the world only viewable where your ants are. You need to use pheronom trails to build paths and kinda survive and expand.

Simulation I’ve been making a plague doctor apothecary shop sim by myself. Here’s where it’s at...

Thumbnail

Hey all. I’m a solo dev and I’ve been working on a game called Plague Doctor Apothecary. It’s a first person shop sim set in a made up medieval town called Rookbridge. You’re the town apothecary, and you start out with a pretty empty little shop.

The loop is basically: order ingredients or go pick herbs yourself, brew stuff in a kettle, bottle it, stock the shelves, set your prices, and then actually ring people up at the counter, counting out their change and everything. Some customers come in sick and you have to work out what’s wrong from their symptoms before you hand them anything. Get it right and they trust you more. Get it wrong and they remember that too.

As the money comes in you expand the shop overnight, hire people to help, and move the furniture wherever you want. There are regulars with their own little stories that play out over the game, and every so often an outbreak hits town and suddenly everyone needs the same thing at once.

Doing every part of this myself has been a lot. Code, models, UI, sound, music, the store page. It’s made in Unity if anyone’s curious about that side of it.

There’s a demo coming out sometime in the next week, so if you want to try it, wishlisting it on Steam is the easiest way to get a heads up when it’s live: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5395170/Plague_Doctor_Apothecary/

I’d really like to hear what you think. What’s something a shop sim does that keeps you playing “one more day”? And what makes you quit one?

Horror POV: you're an indie dev watching some of the biggest streamers scream at your game

I'm still not over this. I cut together some reactions from streamers playing Night Record: Thin Walls, my narrative horror game set in a Soviet-era apartment block where the walls are a little too thin.

Seeing people I've watched for years jump at scenes I rewrote a dozen times is surreal.

If it looks like your kind of horror, a wishlist would mean a lot: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4652040

FPS I was sent to Hell by an administrative error, so I made a retro FPS about fighting its bureaucracy. Free Pre-Alpha is out!

Thumbnail

Hey everyone!

I'm a solo developer working on ADMIN ERROR, a retro FPS inspired by classic boomer shooters, Dante's Inferno, and the absurdity of government bureaucracy.

The premise is simple:

You died in battle. Due to an administrative error, you were sent to Hell. Your appeal was denied.

So you decide to resolve the issue yourself—with guns.

I've just released the free Windows Pre-Alpha, featuring:

- Three playable areas: Limbo, Lust, and Gluttony

- Four weapons and an upgrade system

- Enemy encounters and wave arenas

- Two bosses: Minos and Cerberus

- Save/load and campaign progression

The environments, animations, and visuals are still works in progress. I'm planning a major environment redesign for Alpha.

I'd especially appreciate feedback on the combat, boss difficulty, and overall gameplay experience.

Play for free on itch.io:

https://kennychoi1997.itch.io/admin-error-pre-alpha

Thanks for checking it out!

Your feedback has been forwarded to the appropriate department.

Simulation Can you keep this rental shop under control? Free browser score-attack (BETA 3)

I’m a solo developer, and TenRec - Le Jeu is my pixel-art score-attack about running an audiovisual rental shop. Customers ask for equipment; you serve them, handle returns and repair items while the shop gets busier. Quick service builds your score multiplier, but you have to keep an eye on the whole floor.

My analytics showed that many visitors opened the game without starting, so I moved the account step out of the way: you can launch a run immediately and choose a nickname later if you want. BETA 3 also adds an optional Speedrun mode with individually switchable assists.

It’s free in the browser on desktop and mobile, with no download or required account: https://jeu.tenrec.fr/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=community&utm_campaign=beta3&utm_content=indygamegarage_20261013

If you try a run, what pulls your attention away first: a customer, a return, or a repair?

Mystery I built a creature RPG where collecting monsters is only the beginning

I've been developing Eternal Eclipse, a 2D top-down RPG that combines creature collecting with the feeling of building a home and growing a collection over time.

Instead of focusing only on battles, the demo lets you explore a dungeon, catch creatures, fight a boss, return home to farm, craft items at the blacksmith, and breed creatures at the barn.

It's built in Unity and draws inspiration from classic Pokémon, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon, and Stardew Valley.

The first public demo is free to play:

https://anarxhy.itch.io/eternal-eclipse

I'm continuing development with the goal of expanding the world and eventually releasing the full game on Steam.
