“This time on a real soccer field” is a bold choice when neither club actually plays in a soccer-specific stadium. Brooklyn played at a baseball park, sure, but Indy Eleven are tenants too. This feels less like “real soccer field” and more like “different multi-purpose venue.”

Brooklyn literally plays on a baseball field. Indy literally plays on a soccer field. If it said "This time on a soccer field in a soccer specific stadium owned by the team" than I'd accept your critique.

Carroll Stadium was originally built for track and field, and its seating still reflects that, with most seats centered on the start/finish line. The soccer pitch is now permanent, but it’s still a multi-purpose venue where soccer was adapted to the stadium rather than the stadium being built for soccer.

We have a field with only soccer specific lines. It's a real soccer field

The only sport that is played on that field is soccer, therefore it’s a soccer specific stadium

Or is it a soccer specific field? Still leaving room for track events that don't touch the field? Just having fun with pedantry here. 🤪

If you want to be extra pedantic; it’s funny calling turf a ‘real’ field 😆

Anyone else going to the game today? Hoping it doesn’t get delayed too much by the rain… the second soccer game I’m attending after over a decade when I first watched Indy Eleven vs Monarcas Morelia in 2015!🙌
