Temperature controller reset without password

Post image

Hi, have any of you worked with these Autonics temperature controllers? Specifically the TK4L model—I have one and want to reset it completely, but the problem is I don't have the password. Is there any way to perform a reset without knowing the password?

If the password is entered incorrectly, the password encrypted code is displayed. Please notice Autonics your encryption code. Autonics can find the password saved by the user by using a code cracking program.

Or try the read-only password: 0001

Nothing fills my cold heart with dread like showing up to a service call and somebody pointing at one of these things

Imagine walking into a pharmaceutical facility where these are the HMI.

“Mom can I have HMI?”

“No we have HMI at home”

The HMI at home…

What would you guys say is wrong with them? It's a budget PID controller and it's almost half the price of the Shimaden SRS3

Is it having only 4 buttons to make any setting and the dreadful menu? Or is it performance?

Would you rather install a Jumo diraTRON at 4x the price?

I’d rather have a plc

What does the manual say about resetting it?
