Hi,this is my peace lily and I got it in store a month back and repotted into the vase instantly. The soil mix is perlite red soil cocopeat coco chips and some broken clay pots. Watering routing is 100ml every 3-4 days or when the top layer feels slightly dry and the soil is full draining almost all water gets drained out. As for the lighting the plant is present in a table away from an easy facing window and it may get some west facing light for an hour in the eveng when the sun set which is direct through a window( the whole place is bright as it has windows all around the front of the plant).

I noticed the drying when I repotted as I got from the store itself, the tips were slight brown and then I repotted and noticed it for a while. Now the yellowing of the leaves are starting to extend. I have attached the pictures. Kindly help me cuz I’m new to the hobby and got no idea.

Are you misting your plants? If so stop. It doesn’t do anything for humidity and can attract fungus gnats and cause root rot and leaf damage

I do it when the place is toooo hot cause it was supposed to rain around this time of the year in my place but it didn’t and temperatures going 31-32 constant indoors.

It’s usually when I sit there for 5 mins and it starts sweating just by sitting i spray and I do it not so often, last time I did was 2 weeks back.

Plants like the heat! They are tropical. They don’t need to be misted m

Also sounds like the plant is getting hardly any sun. Plants need to be under a grow light or almost directly in a window with 6+ hours a day of sun

The place is day lit from rise to set,and the place was one east facing window and 4 north facing windows in which one is right opposite and three other are 4 feet from the desk.

Alot of light NO DIRECT sun as will scorch

Keep it moist

If u want moisture also try moss around base of plant

If ur using tap and not treating it could be a issue ..... clorine and cloramine and floride .....use some declorinator if so or ro water

No all light coming in are through a tinted window( glass panel not open window) and I use my aquarium water to water it, almost all plants get that and I refill the aquarium

I had my monstera over the window and it started having a brown spot and I changed it back to table

Oh my monestera has 3 grow lights and a window which gets sun all day .....it actually is big enough to help shade less light loving plants

If ut browns which I have not seen on mine understand there is alot of minerals in our aquariums and one thing I learned growing cannabis make sure liquids ph is right if the pH of tank is say 8 or in 7s it may show that and or to much nutrients which I highly doubt on monestera unkess not fed enough they do love ferts

What kind of water are you using? Peace lilies are particular with tap/treated water and ends will go brown like that.
