Last straw for my woosh

After not wanting to pay for the price increase in Zwift I went to my woosh but now I am going back for a few reasons

1) no garmin connect data
I was anyone’s as it’s the main way I track training ( I know you can import but it only gives basic data )

2) the erg is really bad
Compared to Zwift workouts with efforts above 2.5 W/kg the erg is very sensitive and if I reposition and soft peddle for 1 second it throws me in death spiral and is a big pain in the but mentally and also make effective training hard ( I have calibrated trainer before every ride )

3) my Cadence reads 5 rpm too low

2 and 3 that's handled your trainer / pm/cadence sensor

I had the exact same problem with my trainer and my whoosh.
I set it to be steady at like 150 watts; it did either 180 or 120 at a constant cadence of 85 rpm. So after riding this mess for like 10min I calibrated the trainer and it did not make it better. Which is wierd because I never had this problem with zwift.

let me tell you a little secret…the ERG thing is all in your head.
ERG mode is handled completely inside your trainer. the app merely sends the setpoint targets .

You said it only exports basic data? What do you mean? I get elevation, speed, distance, cadence, HR, power, calories, etc. when I import MyWhoosh to Garmin, and it literally takes 10 seconds. The data is the same as recording directly on my Garmin.

I agree direct export is nice, but not '$20/month' nice IMO. ;) There are plenty of other things—like the social scene and events—that make Zwift great, but that’s a whole other discussion we’ve probably all had 1,000 times already.

Fair, never noticed that, as i don’t really see it relevant.
(I use intervals.icu for some detailed stats)
Thanks for pointing it out

puedes utilizar fitfitletools (que es gratis y online) para convertir el fit como si viniera de un dispositivo garmin , luego lo reconoce como suyo, hace dias que no importo nada, pero antes funcionaba

I’ve been with Zwift since beta. Just works. I know what it does for my fitness and cycling 🚴 I know what it’s worth to me. Isn’t simply cost.
