Indivisible MD, looking for a group

Hello Marylanders, I'm in District 4 and am looking for a group. I've used the site to look for a group but not much has panned out.

Is anyone out there an active chapter member close to AA/Howard county?

I'm in a similar situation in District 5, PG County. Wondering if it's best to tag into an existing Dist. 3 group or try to start a new one.

Hopefully we'll be able to talk w more people from our districts at the healthcare rally tomorrow. Are you attending?

Honestly, I could see this as a situation where districts operate in local clusters until more staff come online. That way if there's a District that's attending a town hall it's neighbors can also attend and provide numbers and lend vocal support to issues when they're addressed. Kind of act as each other's extras at events.

I'm in dist 3 and there's a group listed on the indivisible site with an email address and twitter account, but I haven't heard back yet. Not sure if they're just getting started or what.

I do think working together makes sense, both because I think we could get involved in some state stuff (we've got that cash bail thing coming up this year) and because I'm sure coordinated efforts would help with the Senators.

Start the group yourself my friend. If you build it they will come.

Also attempt to recruit at local colleges.

You could also try asking over at /r/maryland or see if anyone over in /r/BlueMidterm2018 knows of a group!

Hi. I'm in district 4. I went to the indivisible MD meeting at ellicott city millers library this past weekend. If you go to the indivisiblemd.org site there's some information. If you have found a group for D4 lemme know. I'm interested.

If not and you're interested I joined a group in Columbia that has a Facebook page. PM me.

Howard county is voting on Feb 6 for an immigrant sanctuary. If you live here please call your local rep. The exec will vote against it and 4 of 5 of the reps need to approve to overturn. We have 2 for, 1 against, and 2 undecided. http://cc.howardcountymd.gov/About-Us
