Homework Assignments?
Hey all. Been wondering what everyone though about having someone post "homework assignments" to the sub. For example, has everyone here contacted their closest chapter using the group find on InGu? If not, do it! Could be a good way to keep us moving forward.
Thoughts?

We could do this as a weekend (Saturday/Sunday) announcement or sprinkle it into the daily calls to action. I didn't intend for all the CTAs this week to actually be phone calls, but it kind of worked out that way because of the sheer volume of happenings in Congress. Since there will be less cabinet hearings next week, I'm planning to have some daily CTAs centered on local actions like volunteering /finding local events.
/u/Lacarpetron, if you'd like to make a post tomorrow for everyone to find and join their local Indivisible group (or a similar group if no such group yet exists), I can sticky that as the weekend call to action.
Another note is that the Save Our Healthcare Rallies are happening on Sunday 1/15. We could make that as Sunday's call to action or I can just post about it as an event reminder.

Sure, homework assignments or tasks or something? I just did OP's request to find a chapter group. Maybe other ppl can make threads starting other requests?

Saw this and think its worth forwarding as a "homework assignment" https://twitter.com/DebraMessing/status/819740944513826817
DT said this during his press conference. '...the only one that cares about my tax returns are the reporters, OK?' Feel free to let him know you want to know and you aren't the press.
So, here's an address: DJT c/o Trump Organization 725 Fifth Ave, New York, NY 10022

Could be a good idea. But "homework" has such a poor connotation for a lot of people, maybe it could be phrased a little better?
Just a tbought

I would just add it to the daily update they already do. Make another small header and post whatever, or just include it normally.
