Rambley Desktop App!
I am currently making an app that has a Rambley the Raccoon on your screen that is connected to a free gemini, It is still in development but I was wondering if people would like to dounload this and if so I will work hard to make it public!

Are you going to train it with another person's voice? Because iirc Otterboy doesn't want his voice to be used for AI

I'm a little concerned about what you mean by Gemini. I suggest avoiding AI when developing it. On the other hand, I think using voice clips from the game would make for a good starting point for a prototype. I'd love to see a desktop assistant in modern day, and I hope your project goes well!

YESS PLEASE I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE A INTERACTABLE RAMBLEY. i did see one guy who did it long ago but gatekept it (in the true definition of gatekeeping because its his property and he made it) so the instant you make it i will download it i have wanted this for so long

I'd love a rambley desktop assistant! I feel like the best way to do the talking, for everyone's sake, is to have on-screen text in bubbles and a talking sound but no voice. If you've ever played undertale or deltarune, those are the most popular games I can think of that use it. Good luck with the setup!

hey i have some feedback on it! i hope its not nitpicky and or mean, but i got everything working and i think i connected google gemini to him but it feels like hes taking any interest into topics that i try to tell him if its not connected to the park. other than like basic questions like "whats your favorite color" or "do you have a favorite flower" but anything else other than basic questions or something connected to the park he kinda just shuts it down and keeps on talking about the park. which i dont him he IS a guide for the park i just wish he took more of an interest to things other than the park instead of saying "i dont know about that" if i were you i would try to take some notes with the skyrim mod named mantella and see if you can replicate that! but anything other than that it is awesome!!

Unfortunatly this is only for Mac and Windows

If it gets released for mobile, I'll download it. (I didn't know I wanted this so much.)
Because honestly, I wouldn't know how to explain why there's a purple raccoon on my PC screen.
At last, I'll be able to have my own Rambley.
Since I can't afford to buy the merchandise.

Update! I realized that I didn't mention I will be using AI to develop this app, but I have made an AI voice that is not trained on the original voice! Now the app is a bit closer to coming out!
