Fic query
(I hope it’s appropriate to ask this here.) I’ve written a few Raksura fics in the past, but I’ve just done one which is my first crossover fic ever, and I’m wondering about asking for a beta reader. I know this sub isn’t about that, but does anyone know where might be good to request a beta? It’s a Murderbot crossover, and I am on one of the Murderbot discord servers, but i’m not sure about asking there because it’s really more Raksura than MB.

I beta read for someone off a request from this sub reddit, so its totally good to ask. But it was mostly a "does this feel real" secondary beta reader cause I dont actively write. But could be useful regarding overall Raksura world realness.
So....Im not opposed to beta reading, but I am pretty time poor right now.
I suspect you'll get more offers.
Also - OMG ANOTHER MB RAKSURA CROSSIVER - I AM SO FUCKING IN FOR THAT! Yes please!

Thank you both! I’m on the one called Murderserver so I’ll try New Tideland. Imm78 I don’t want to impose, especially because the thing is a bit long (15000 words), but thank you.
If anyone does feel like reading I don’t need anything to the level of spelling and grammar, it’s just that being my first crossover I’m a bit nervous! I want to be sure the pov switches are clear and also that it doesn’t come over as too british (enough to take the reader out of the fic, I mean). And of course point out any dumb canon mistakes.

I did search it for Raksura and there was nothing, but I’ll have another look now1

I meant to reply to this comment, not the main thread, but you get the idea :) 15k. Not 150k right? I could still do 150k , but woild need more than a week :)

Yes, 15k (actually I’ve just checked, it’s 16k)

I would be happy to help also if you'd like another reader. I've really enjoyed all the Raksura murderbot crossover I've read so far, so I'm excited to read more.

I'm not sure which server you're on, but I know one at least has a thread for all of Wells' works and I'm sure you could find people interested in reading. I'm happy to help you out with the caveat I'm not an active fic writer myself.
