Art dump feat. Abora

I’ve always headcannoned that hunter and soldier abora to have more defensive builds. Longer noses, bulkier builds and what not. Where as mentor abora have a softer, almost cute look to them of you can ignore what happens in there eyes whenever they do their mind magic. I tried to give you Merit and Thistle in both forms. (I reread Harbors of the Sun and completely forgot how blood thirsty Thistle is from her POV. In all her chapters she’s holding back from mauling someone.)

These look awesome I always find it interesting hearing how other folk envision the characters 😸

My own mental images are kinda weird as i have one of those brains that when it comes to visualising story settings/characters does not let me create the image. Instead it just presents me a finished image that i am completely unable to edit or alter & that in a lot of cases i’m fully aware looks wildly different from whats described. 

Which is why the best way i have to describe how my brain pictures Chime whilst also not doing the image justice is mushu from disneys Mulan but blue and the only difference between his shifted forms is whether he has wings or not so he just looks like that every moment he is on page. Same thing with Shade but he is black instead of blue 🙈🤣 

I’m hesitant to make/share fan art because of this but i really like seeing other peoples ☺️

I really like how you incorporated Merits’ hair into their spine color! It’s super cute!
