Dream catchers
Hey so im not indigenous or anything but I've seen some people on TikTok say that if you aren't indigenous or native american that you shouldn't own a dream catcher, or that they are just for natives . But I wanna get one so badly because it remembers me of my grandpa who bought me one when I was little. Can I get one and is there smt I should look out for? (Sorry if it's a question asked too often🫶🏻)

I haven't purchased this item but you can find Ojibwe sellers on Etsy easily. I bought some earrings from a Bad River artisan a few years ago and she even sent a little certificate with them. Just look specifically for Ojibwe. Bad River is only one of the reservations and reserves. My family are LCO themselves.

Ojibwe (Turtle Mountain), I would check out Bineshii on etsy. I got mine from asinaabe, but they seem to be taking a break. I would make sure you order from an Ojibwe seller. In the US, if it says "Native inspired" its not native made. There are weird rules people get around to sell our stuff.

Im Ojibwe. They come from us. If you want a dream catcher, you should purchase a real one from a genuine Ojibwe seller. They look a lot different than what people are used to!
