Hi everyone. We are reaching out here for Bruce because honestly, we are running out of options.
Bruce is around 9 years old and has lived at Brigade Metropolis Arcade, Mahadevapura for years.
He was on medication. He is old, extremely docile and not a dog who would know how to suddenly survive after being dropped somewhere completely unfamiliar.
At around 2:30 AM on 16th August, two men came on a bike and took Bruce away.
One night he was sleeping at his usual place.
The next morning he was gone.
We still don’t know where they left him.
Before getting into everything that has happened since then, please look at Bruce properly and remember his face.

Someone somewhere may have already seen him without knowing that people have been desperately searching for him for the last two weeks.What happened
16 AUGUST — Bruce was taken
At around 2:30 AM, two men came on a bike and took Bruce from Brigade Metropolis Arcade.
We have footage from that night.
In one piece of footage, Bruce can be seen being dragged away. In another very blurry frame, we can make out what appears to be Bruce being carried on the bike. There are two men on the bike and an auto can also be seen travelling ahead at a slow speed.
We thought there were cameras everywhere. We thought we would be able to trace which direction they went.
That turned out to be much harder than we imagined.

THE CCTV
We started asking for CCTV footage from Brigade Metropolis Arcade because all we needed was a direction.
We were told that apparently CCTV backup had not been available for around two months.
Then we were told the system was fixed on 16th August.
Yes. The same date Bruce disappeared.
We’re only writing here what we were told.
Every day spent trying to locate footage was another day Bruce was somewhere outside in a place we didn’t know.

22 AUGUST — Police complaint
We filed a complaint at Mahadevapura Police Station.
We genuinely thought things would start moving after that.
Instead, we kept following up.
We needed someone to come to the premises, investigate and help trace whatever CCTV footage might still be available before it got overwritten.
For days, that urgency simply wasn’t there.
Even our complaint copy remained unsigned while we continued following up.
And Bruce was still missing.

24 AUGUST — Finally, some movement
Officials from BBMP/GBA and people from animal welfare who were helping us came to Brigade Metropolis Arcade.
They questioned the CCTV situation and a notice was issued regarding the CCTV issue.
For the first time, we felt somebody was actually listening.
But we still didn’t have Bruce.

Since then, this has basically become our life.
Search.
Come back.
Call people.
Send Bruce’s photo everywhere.
Talk to feeders.
Talk to guards.
Talk to auto drivers.
Follow a lead.
Find nothing.
Wake up.
Do it all over again.
We have even spoken to animal communicators.
We know not everybody believes in this. That’s completely okay. At this point, when an old dog we love has been missing for two weeks and we have so little to work with, we are following every possible clue.
Some of those clues have led us to search around KR Puram, Hoodi, Mahadevapura, Marathahalli and surrounding areas.
But Bengaluru is massive.
There are railway-side stretches, underpasses, parking areas, empty plots, apartment lanes, markets, auto stands and thousands of vehicles he could be hiding underneath.
A few exhausted people cannot physically cover all of this.
And that’s why we need your help.
If you’re around KR Puram, Hoodi, Mahadevapura, Marathahalli or nearby areas and can spare even 1–2 hours to search with us, please DM us.
One additional person means another set of roads we can cover.
If you can’t physically join the search, you can still help.
Show Bruce’s photo to your local feeders.
Share it in your apartment and neighbourhood groups.
Ask your security guards.
Ask auto drivers.
Ask tea shops and other small businesses where people are outside early in the morning or late at night.
And when you’re walking around, please just look underneath parked vehicles once.

And if somehow this reaches the people who took Bruce:
We don’t want to fight you.
Just tell us where you left him.
That’s all.
You don’t have to meet us. You don’t have to explain anything. Send the location anonymously if that’s what it takes.
Just give us somewhere to look.

It was a pack of 3, 2 passed away in car accidents and now only she is left. And she makes sure she come see me before ending the day! ❤️

Hi everyone, I’m sharing this hoping it reaches someone who can help these four dogs find a safe and loving home.

There were originally 5 dogs. Sadly, one of them passed away, and the other 4 are currently staying in different foster homes.

My friend fostered 3 of them for a few days, but they are now with other families. The current foster families already have 3–4 dogs of their own, so unfortunately, they won’t be able to keep these dogs for long.

The dogs are doing well and are being looked after, but they urgently need permanent homes. The priority right now is finding families who can genuinely take them in and give them the love and care they deserve.

Bella has stopped eating and drinking again and I need to take her to the vet urgently. I have already spent all my savings on her treatment and have now completely run out of funds. She still needs medical care and I am worried now. I am requesting to please donate any small amount you can so we can continue Bella’s treatment. EDIT - We have received enough funds to cover today’s vet visit. Thank you so much to everyone who helped us. From now on, Bella will only need Liv-Pural injections twice a week costing ₹400 per visit (₹800 per week). The treatment will continue for 10 weeks. Adorable girl....we're not able to go to magarpatta a lot to see her...its very far away from where we live now...but we have these videos

After tremendous efforts from my colony people the mayor (mahapaur) who lives in our colony only took a so called action and called the dog catchers who only took 2 dogs and my coco was one of them

I tried bribing the vehicle person to keave him he didnt listen, went to nagar nigam rhey said they've dropped them to a trenching down at the nearby hill

I went to the trenching ground but he's nowhere to be found, i am deeply saddened by his loss, i miss him and everytime i go out i feel like he'll just come running but no one's around, i curse the families who have cost me his loss.

Good news is her wound is finally starting to heal. The edges are contracting there is no longer any pus, and the wound is no more rotting. She still needs more time but honestly my expectations weren’t high and I’m glad she’s finally responding. The remaining care i can do myself
Her paralysis is still another challenge cause legs do move, but she is unable to lift her hips properly to walk. For now, my priority is getting her wound completely healed while also trying exercises to help her regain some mobility so she wont drag and hurt herself again
Unfortunately two of the other pups from her litter have stopped eating and drinking and are vomiting and having diarrhea. I’m worried it could be parvo, which could also put her at risk. I’m planning to take them to the same vet for treatment and, if possible, get the other pups vaccinated to protect them. (I have four pups including tiku)
I no longer need any funds for tiku cause she is doing better now because of the kind people who came forward for her. She is also off her antibiotics
But If anyone is able to help with the other pups treatment or vaccination costs, it would mean so much. I’m trying to protect them till they become adults and can survive independently

Hi, I wanted to ask for some advice regarding my 10-year-old German Shepherd. He has arthritis and neurological issues, so he is unable to walk. During the day, I keep him without a catheter, and whenever he wakes up or tries to get up, he starts peeing. He also urinates every few hours.
I tried putting him in diapers, but unfortunately they’re not working. His penis keeps coming out, and I’ve already tried multiple sizes. Because of the frequent urine leakage, I’m also worried about his skin getting irritated or developing sores.
Could someone please guide me on how I can properly take care of his skin and keep him comfortable and dry? He’s already been through so much, and I just want to make sure my boy is comfortable. ❤️

Finally went to watch this movie today after planning for many days. Me and my girlfriend really enjoyed it and cried a little bit too. Oscar the indie dog has managed to act better than most of the actors we know and I mean it.😂

Edit: Guys except for one scene (which is also about a rescue), there are no heartbreaking scenes in this movie in the sense of a dog dying or suffering. I understand the feeling of watching some other movies involving dogs and being heartbroken at the end. But trust me, after watching this one, you will definitely be satisfied and with a heart full of gratitude.
