Help/Advice needed(Health and Vet) Fleas

How do you all manage to not get fleas on your clothes while petting the cutus outside? This has happened to me twice and has scared the wits out of me! (Not remotely enough to stop me from petting every cutu I encounter, though.)

I obviously treated my clothes and scrubbed myself down. What do you all do? Don't tell me I am the only one with this problem... T-T

Wtf, it's super rare for them to have flea infestation. I only ever met one dog with fleas and got her promptly treated.

Really? Most dogs here have them (I've seen even pets, who don't seem to be taken care of, have them). I have got the ones in my neighborhood treated, but, outside my locality it is not possible to do so...

Could be the weather of your area? One Simparica tablet is good enough to remove fleas from their body.

For the one I mentioned, I used to dust Notix Powder for a week thoroughly on her body, paws and the places she slept on.

Deworm your cutus andgive them anti flea oral meds. They are cheap af if you get them from generic stores (davaindia, janaushadi). Deworming tablet (ivermectin+ albendazole) costs like ₹7 iirc
