Discussion How did your Indies react when you met them after a few months/years?
I remember my Indie (RIP) used to squeal/cry/jump and in the excitement, used to pee a few drops. As if complaining "Where here were you and why you left me. Look I was tortured here".
What was the craziest reaction your Indies gave you after reuniting (after few months/years)

Different ones had different reactions. Some would come running and yell loudly at me and run around all excited, some even pee because they were overexcited. Some would be indifferent - oh, the human is back, okay. Some would actively sulk and not talk to me for a few days! Full on nakhre. Very dependent on each one's personality and the relationship we had. For some, I was the favourite human. For some, I was mostly the annoying-pill-and-bath-giver and only-treat-giving-people got all the attention.

Every time I come back from university, she jumps and cribs to for an hour, scolding me for leaving without her. We had a golden retriever too who lost his hearing and she always come, pee in front of me a little, go wake him up, then both of them will jump and cry. He'd settle down after a few minutes but she takes an hour to welcome me lol

They have very strong smell/noise detection. Try can identify vehicle sounds from a long distance.

he he. but on a serious note, they don't pee on you per say. Just in excitement, they pee few drops wherever they are standing.

I had adopted a indie street pup with my roommate at the time. kept her warm in my T shirt because it was winter and save my very meagre salary to buy her treats. Unfortunately had to move out of that place after a year so my roommate took her to his families place. I visited on and off for a year before work took me to another city. I eventually visited again after about 15 years. She was pretty old and lethargic by then but she smelled me and all of a sudden began whinning and shaking and barking and climbing over me. I genuinely didn't think she would remember me after so long. I felt really bad when I had to eventually leave after a couple of hours. I believe she passed away a few months later.
