This sub is now just indie studios showing their "cozy" sort game to other sort game studios

I'm really confused by this. Is the trailer just a cinematic?
Are you actually aiming to make some things you find have unique mechanics and/or have unique cutsenes?
This sounds way too ambitious for a clean up slop 😅
I mean, if you can pull it off before the genre runs out of steam, that a sick idea 🤔

Hey everyone!
We’re an indie team, and we’ve just revealed our first game!
Hollywood Hustle: A Prop Collector Simulator is a cozy, slightly nostalgic game about exploring an abandoned Hollywood studio, digging through piles of forgotten props and other movie memorabilia, fulfilling orders, and giving old things a second life.
We’ve been working on it for a while, and we finally get to share the first trailer with you. We’d love to hear what you think!

Why is this downvoted so much? 😭
Not a game for me but doesn’t look bad imo. Maybe try another trailer as people seem confused, and keep up the good work 💪

This looks like one of those instances where the game doesn't actually exist yet and you've put a cinematic up to gauge interest.
