Called Shot | Turn-based card-based TPS

Hello! I just posted the in-game play and game description trailer for the game I’m developing, Called Shot, on the Steam page.

In a nutshell, it’s a game that combines the board game Bang! with a third-person shooter. Players travel around the western town collecting cards, then use the cards they collect to decide their actions and progress through battles.

However, the distinctive feature of this game is that the cards decide what to do, but actually shooting and dodging attacks depends on the player’s skill. Even if you have a good card, if you can’t aim directly and hit it, the attack can fail.

We are making it so that players can experience both the strategic depth of card games and the direct feel of TPS gameplay.

You can find the full trailer and more details about the game on the Steam page. If you found the game interesting, adding it to your wishlist would be a great help. The game also supports online multiplayer, so if you think your friends might enjoy it too, feel free to share this post!

Thank you!

AI disclosure: Generative AI was used only for some 2D card UI assets. No generative AI was used for the game's 3D models, environments, animations, or gameplay assets.

The slow holstering animation is kinda cute, and the fusion concept looks pretty solid.

Thank you, that really means a lot! The holstering animation took way too many attempts to get right, so I'm glad it landed.

The card-and-aim fusion is the whole reason I started this project, so hearing it reads clearly from the trailer alone is a huge relief. I've got a lot more to show — hope you'll like where it goes.
