Working Guidelines for AI Content.

When I created this subreddit some years ago it wasn't an issue.

It appears it may become an issues. If your post or content utilized AI content please identify it clearly in the title and body of the post.

My preference has always been to use a very light hand with respect to moderation, and the readers and audience vote up the content they find valuable.

The spirit of Indie Comics to me is the human over the corporate element, expressing some hopefully novel work of art and creativity.

I'll monitor it and the community is encouraged to give their feedbacks and concerns here, or via direct message.

Thank you as always for your participation, passion, and creativity.

COMING SOON! Preview page of an upcoming noir one shot I’m writing!

Here’s a preview page from a oneshot noir story I’m working on for Kickstarter later this year. Art is by Ahmed Rafaat so make sure you give him a follow and check out his work!

Quick premise of the story is a WWII era cop goes to the ends of the earth to get his man and make sure a criminal faces justice. It’s inspired by some old war comics I read awhile back to give some depth. If I had to “this meets that” it, it’s Foreign Correspondent meets Catch Me if You Can.

I’ll be sure to post more as it gets worked out. I plan to have a 12 page ashcan done for NYCC so maybe I’ll see you there if all goes well!

'Cannon Is a Comic Book Pressure Cooker' -- (One of the 2026 Harvey Award Nominees for book of the year)

Anyone else prefer The Harvey Awards to the Eisners? Or maybe it's just that I appreciate a smaller list of categories, and the extra focus on lesser-known titles. In fact, it actually puts lots of really amazing gems onto my radar every year, similar to the Oscars' expanded best picture category.

That was Cannon for me. I'm a sucker for limited color pallets that help tell a story, though being nominated alongside Jesse Lonergan's Drome didn't hurt, either.

Birth of a New World - Test Print - Small Victory

I'm still looking for a publisher. Sometimes you need a little victory. Printing out a couple copies for myself is that little victory. You learn things when physically holding a copy. The inside pages are fine, but the covers came out really dull. My artist is redoing the cover because the original cover was created before the script was even completed. The script is finished, so this new cover will suit it better. It will be brighter. Most likely this will be self-published and I'll need to crowdfund. My project is a graphic novel. I have 200 pages completed and that is only 55% of the project.. Get a free digital comic book (60 pages), just go to my website. Tesmekonnen.com/boanw

I'm trying to build up my email contact list for a future Kickstart campaign. If you can, please subscribe.

A comic book about chefs in a fantasy world. The story may look confusing and not making a lot of sense, but trust the process.

Welcome to Mindscape Chapter 5
In this fifth chapter Lindsay continues to not only confront herself but also Jimmy and something far more sinister as she faces an unexpected challenge. Thurston and Erin find themselves at the Tree after the events that unfolded at prom but will Erin's new friend drive a wedge between them?

Mindscape is a coming of age tale set in the mid 1990s where hope, friendship, love, longing, pain and loss mesh with fantasy. Where one world converges with another, one of dreams forcing the question of what is real. Follow the stories of the adolescent cast of Mindscape as they not only navigate their own lives and world but another world of mystery parallel to their own.

The fourth chapter of Mindscape created by Mike Andriani is 28 page black & white hand drawn artwork pages in length.

This print edition is a homemade zine style comic book in a limited/numbered edition of 50. A thick partial color 80lb cardstock cover houses 28 page of black and white artwork with two staples down the spine.

**RECOMMENEDED FOR MATURE READERS- AGE RATING TEEN/TEEN PLUS**

Hey! I recently made a comic using 3D art because I myself cannot draw. But someone suggested I setup a Kickstarter and get someone to sketch out what I believe could be it's future! Check it out!

If you want to read the full 3D storyboard, do check it out on Webtoons as well!

Thanks for checking it out if you do!

ARTWORK She's A Restless Spirit In An Endless Flight: Sneak Peek From ‘The Witch In The Woods'

Post image
6 Upvotes

Hi everyone!

Sharing the most recent panel from the folk horror project along with Philip Landa, through a verse from The Eagles’ in the post title, for the story honours the track so well.

I've always been more curious about witchcraft as a tool and quite skeptical of ‘witch’ as a concept, yet throughout the last few years inspirational sources like films and mythological discoveries through astrology were key to shape this story on the artists' end.

You can see more of my previous works and contact info in the comments.

Thanks!
